Caller: Credit Corp

Credit Corp continually chase you for supposedly unpaid debts that they have purchased from a finance company for as little as 4c in every debt dollar you supposedly owe. So for a $1000 debt they have purchased for as little as $40.
Never ever ring them back as your credit year blacklist will start again.
Your debt gets wiped after 7 years if you don't make any contact with them.
Block their number but they will continually ring you on other phone numbers that they have a rotation of hundreds of landlines & mobile phone numbers they use.
Rule of thumb is never answer any phone calls from people you don't know if they aren't in your address book.

I have a pre-paid mobile that is for emergencies only its never used and is set to not send out the number but I do periodically check and erase any telstra messages. I have a missed call from this number EVERY day for the last 12 days!!!! It can only be a scam as no-one has my number or would dare to call me at 7.45 am of a weekend!!
Now will have to just work out how to block the idiots number

I received 2 phone calls from this number in 2 days
but they would not leave any message on my answering machine. Scammers! I have now blocked this number.

Get occasional calls and marked number as spam. Due to comments on here I have blocked the number

I use an app called TRUECALLER. It pops up SPAM when they call. Anything that has that has been registered at some time as SPAM so you just don’t answer....been getting called by the number now for a couple of weeks. d*ckheads.

Three calls in five days.
No voice message. I don't call back if they don't leave a message.
Will block based on other comments here!

Caller: Garbled recorded message, "Press 1 to be removed from our call list" message.

After checking this number, I have blocked it, on the grounds it's a scammer.

Nearly 2021 and they are still at it . I don’t answer if I don’t know who is calling so they are wasting their time.

Caller: Market Research

Missed call, no message left, I called back and got a recorded message. It said Thanks for calling Engine, you have missed a research marketing call and if you don't want to receive another one leave your number at the tone.
I just hung up

Multiple calls from this number. Hangups. No message. My number is unlisted so I would like to know how they got it. I have now blocked it.

Second dodgy call received in 5 days

Three missed calls. Usually between 8 pm and 12.45 am! Didn't leave any voice messages.

I don't recognise the number. They call my mobile nearly every day. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. I'm glad I looked it up. I thought it might be a scam or telemarketer. Seems I was right.

Caller: Sounded like a youngish man

Called - said that he was calling to discuss a serious health issue affecting NSW residents. I said that I didnt live there and he hung up immediately!
Sounded nervous on call and wouldnt give me any details when asked.

Had a few calls from this number - OIC International Travel and social marketing - nuisance caller

Tourism australia survey, asking about travel plans and residentail place, even asked about mobile carrier. sounds like scam, even asked about income
