I kept getting calls from (03) 8613 9353 and just want to know who the hell these people are. They have nothing better to do ?

Random call from someone with a Philipino/American accent who wanted my account details. Sounded like a Scam Call.

This is NOT AGL, I did a quick chat with AGL online and they have told me that these people are scamming for money. Do NOT pay anything or confirm any details. Hang up and contact AGL directly if in doubt.

Rang the number and had a recorded message saying they were AGL. I usually pay on time but forgot. I received an email to remind me to pay by 22nd January 2019 and if I didn't pay recovery action would commence. They have rang me numerous times despite it being a week out from the reminder notice date. Pissing me off so going to ditch them.

Confirming that (as far as I am concerned) it isn't a scam.
Every time my AGL gas or electricity bill goes 2-3 days overdue, I get missed calls from this number.
Shortly after the missed call (around 30 minutes) I then get a text message from AGL reminding me about the last bill.

It (this number) may not actually be AGL themselves, I think it is an outsourced agency that AGL use to chase they bills and this is one of many numbers they may use to call people.

They asked to speak to me by name, I said yes, they said thankyou I will now end this call. I suspect it’s overseas AGL call centre operators selling customer details on the sly. They just ring to make sure your details are correct before selling them.

This is not agl - it is a scammer posing as agl - do not give them any personal information or pay any amount they demand!!!!

Auto call. No message. Wants your dob etc. They will bother you regardless of payment plan etc. also could be a scam as a 3rd party.

I have been making regular payments on my bill for awhile now. I get a call from them saying they're AGL and that my bill is overdue, which I am well aware of and they're wanting me to confirm personal details which they should already have.
Harassing me over $128 is ridiculous after I've already entered a payment plan ages ago. Going to switch providers once this bill is paid off.

I answered but they hung up so no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️

Auto call want your details dob etc I have blocked a few numbers like this one so they will keep annoying you.

This harrasement by AGL,or it could be scammers.Somehow they get hold of peoples accounts with AGL and try to get money from you. I have got so many calls from this number ,i never answer now.

Sounds like a scam from an O/S call centre. They call you and then expect you to provide personal details.
Surely this cant be a legitimate business practice from National energy provider. If it is legit, then its time to change providers.

AS the biggest gas exporter in the world you would think the price should be cheaper..... ps $97.00 owing and I have already told them next week is pay day, but have had 10 calls since the communication.
