definitely scammers. I was called straight after this call by a mobile that showed as my own mobile on screen, with the recorded voice "This is the NCA...." garbage so hung up. The number I didn't get AGL from them just silence.

I have recently had problems with a bill from Power Direct . (Created by Power Direct inefficiency).Which has been sorted out 3 days ago) This has never happened before they became 'The proud partner' of AGL, which has always resorted to threatening people to pay for bills that were due to AGL apparent inefficiency.
After reading this I will block this number, thanks everyone.

This number rang I answered and they called me by the wrong name; I had only just gotten a new phone and new number, the next day they rang and said it was fine to talk to them as they are ringing everyone in Australia about their Super's. Be very careful not to give them anything, I didn't even give them my name.

Rude bitches who call you who have been contracted by AGL to harrass you even if your bill is only a day late. Totally not needed. Maybe a simple text or email would surfice instead of sticking these Muppets onto good people to who have suffered enough through covid

It most likely is AGL judging by the previous comments. I checked my account and it was overdue by 1 day. I don't get bills often due to solar so I forget sometimes.

I keep getting calls from this number but they are silent on the other end. It probably is AGL wanting their money.🙄

Indian scammers

Said it was Telstra, “you’re internet connection will be disconnected.”
We’re not with Telstra... but we are with AGL .... I’m over these calls!!

Rang this number back and I was told it was AGL, I told her my name and started questioning her and she said they rang to say that my account was good...

Gave them my email address and they sent a copy of my electricity bill, looks identical to the one received via post. I offered to pay through BPAY but they insist on me making the payment using my credit card. Decided not to proceed.

I called them back, and the dude on the are there ended the call sounded as shifty as anything!

Called asking to confirm personal details. Only have half my surname when asking to speak to me. Claimed to be calling about my electricity account (which is currently in credit). When I challenged him he told me to only call back on the number he called from.
