I've told then repeatedly stop calling me - same idiot each time "James" ( I suspect its actually a computer I'm talking to, not an actual person) continues with the sales pitch spiel - Have blocked these grubs each time they call, an d each time they use a different number, which is obviously bogus as well - cant understand why the authorities cant do something about this company?

Bought wine from a television market call, have had terrible problems ever since. Ordered 2 cases (24 bottles) and received 11 cases in total of the wrong wine. Charged for 11 cases and refused to refund money. Took weeks to answer emails, now 4 months later and still no refund or any sign of putting things right. They are crooks and scammers.

Called me after 18 hour shift, just after I had got to sleep - I’m on call as well so have to leave phone on. Kept on with the spiel, and on ……. Got angry with me when I told him I was on do not call list and said he was terminating call because I was abusing him!

I have blocked 4 to 5 numbers from this company A DAY for the past 6 months. They constantly hang up once you answer the phone. Complete Scam. Hoping they give up soon 🙏

I have done the following based on advice from Choice.com.au :

Join the Do Not Call Register
Registering your mobile number on the Do Not Call Register will stop most of the calls. Sign up at www.donotcall.gov.au or phone 1300 792 958.

Just kidding. James will never make dosh here. Perhaps needs a few glasses of wine to slow down his whopper frequency of calls.

IRONICALLY, I feel inebriated from the sheer volume of calls, despite blocking previous numbers.

Judging from the above messages, the Wine Group has created a WHINE Group. Goodness help us all. God save the queen (and Prince Charles’ ears.)

I too have the same problem with OakRoad Wines. A sales person called Finn, constantly calls me on all numbers even though I have asked about 10 times to take my name off their list. I block each number. Terrible sales tactic to harass people who are clearly not interested in their sales. He is rude and will persist in the cat mouse game.

James from the Wine Group keeps calling on different numbers - i've placed my number on the Do Not Call register so he is prohibited from contacting me hehehe. I don't know how he got my number in the first place

When I told him I dont drink wine and my friends dont either, he said thats ok but has continued to call me everyday since. I think he is a mindless corporate guy who is making his KPI's by running these senseless calls.

How does James find the time to call and harrass so many people, so often?! No matter how many times i tell him i dpnt drink wine and neither does anyone i know, he still continues to try and sell me on this 'great deal'. And every time i tell him, hes already called and my answer is the same he says "oh this is the first time Ive called you- must have been a different group that had called". Nope. Same James. Same voice. Same speel. Sounds automated somehow.

Constant calls from this and similar numbers, I block all unknown numbers but he then leaves a voice message so I still end up knowing he called. Government should be on top of this rubbish.

If you have an iphone you can use the function 'silence unknown calls' and that way you don't have to deal with it. If the call is important the person will leave a message for you.
