The Wine Group has constantly called me. When I don't answer, they do not leave a message. I block the number, but they call on another number. They have reached over 20 times (not exaggerating), and I have stopped each number, thinking they will soon run out of numbers. When that happens, I will let everyone know! It is horrendous to think I had to block over 20 different numbers from one company. If I did that, I would be arrested for harassment and intimidation! The judge would be highly critical of the sick effort to obtain multiple numbers to harras. The calls have been constant for over six months now! I wish I could post a screenshot of all the blocked numbers.

After a delay James introduces himself and tells me he'll be "super quick" and asks me how my wine requirements are? I ask him if he knows he's called a business to which he tells me it doesn't matter because anyone can take advantage of their deals, up to 80% off. "Thanks James, did you realise you called a business?" Completely ignores me and starts to tell me about a cheeky little Shiraz he has on offer. WTF James?...No thanks James, I have work to do!!

Sounds like a pre-recording and pushing the sale of wines. When I said I don’t drink, the voice continued to push a ‘great value sale’

I’m so sick of getting calls from this guy, I’ve blocked about 20 different numbers and he still manages!!! I’m actually seeking further help to stop this, it’s HARASSMENT!!!!!! I’m giving you an ear full next time. Get a life loser.

Just kidding. Not purporting to be James. (Cue Cher from Clueless: “AS IF!) Wishing everyone freedom from this apparent never-ending telemarketing farce. Almost like a bottomless glass, except we won’t cheers to that.

They keep calling, once in the morning and again in the evening even after I have blocked them

They call up to 5 or 6 times a day. I have blocked their number on my phone now. They also leave no voice mail, so if it was important, they would have left a voice mail.....

The Wine Group cold calls and keeps selling wine after saying no three times. Its a scam. And encourage my husband to drink !!!! We gave spent $2000 in three months on wine.

I got called, (have been spam called several times before). The deal sounded fantastic. I almost bought into it, but at the last minute thought hang on, cold call, I'm not paying up till I can independently verify who they are. Then got sent a text message (from a US number), with a link (that looked really dodgy - definitely not a .au website) for me to 'securely enter my credit card details'. That was the end of every thing from my side. Impossible to tell the difference between this and a scam, and at best a spam attack. (multiple phone calls, the same lines used, they do not listen to "Im not interested in buying wine at this time".

I too have received countless calls (literally 50+) from this company, each time from a different number (which I then block). Each time a very enthusiastic salesman offers me the 80% off special and I remind him that I spoke to him yesterday - I have terminal cancer and do not drink wine. I am not interested in purchasing wine and do not wish to receive further calls. I have made this explicitly clear each time. I am on the DNC register (since 2014). The sales pitch then continues!
Today was breaking point and I lodged a complaint with ACMA. This company recently paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines for telecommunications breaches and are operating under a compliance order. I urge anyone who receives these calls in the same nuisance manner that I have to lodge a complaint.
