Another Scam call today sent to voicemail about debiting my account. I received a similar one pretending to be Amazon last week. blocked!

My husband had the same thing happen today from this number...definitely dodgy

Scam caller asking about $299 from some unknown bank. Asked him if he likes curry and he got offended and hung up

Had a called from (03) 5294 0137 saying there is $299 was being debited from my account. I called them back and told them I was Federal Police officer and this call is getting taped. They hung up straight away ha ha ha ha Total Scam

Same message re $299.99 will be debited to my account. Press 1 for refund or dial (03) 5294 0137

Robot call regarding a debt to my account. Definitely a scam.

I missed the call and received a badly recorded message saying something about a gift card expenditure on my ebay Account. I called the number and was told that there looked to be 4 people at different locations, China, Palm Beach and 2 others not revealed, using my account. The male person ("Jack William" with an Asian accent) wanted me to use my smart device whereby he would step me through the process to cancel this expenditure. I advised him I was not prepared to proceed and he then gave me his ID for verification (EBY6_6086). I further insisted that I was not prepared to follow his instructions and would undertake an investigation myself. He advised he will call me in 30 minutes. I will not be taking that call.

I received a call yesterday I believe was a scam. Automated message and as I very rarely buy anything from ebay, I hung up. Same claim as other posts about a purchase of $299.99

I also received an automated call about an eBay amount for $299.99. It's a scam. Just hang up. They try and get access into your computer to try and obtain financial details.

Received a call from this number, they left a message saying $299 was being debited from my account and if i did not place the order to call them back to cancel it. I called back, they answered as eBay. When I questioned them on if this was a scam they said it wasn't. After finding this site, i realize it was a scam. I called them back twice to advise them I know they are trying to scam people and they hung up on me. I called back and got someone else and told them i knew it was a scam and that they best not touch my account as I have reported them, there response was "go ahead!"

Same. Definitely a scam and a very poor one at that.

Automated message that didn't say ebay but $299.99 will be debited from my account and that I should ring 6135294037 if I didn't make a purchase - seems to be a number from Canada?!?!?!?!?
