Same message - will debit my Ebay account. Ask me to type in www.ebay/48 to fill out form to stop payment of $299.99 ITunes. I refused.

eBay customer care will NEVER call you about a sale on your account, Thats not how eBay works. They are a platform.

Don't give these people any details at all, Obviously trying to rip you off.

Gary from EBAY wanted to see if I wanted to approve a $299 payment on my account, no I didn't. What sort of phone do I have android or Iphone? Sorry Gary I have another call coming in. Several minutes later recieved another call form same number, left a message.

Got as far as the word debited and hung up.

Scam call with automated message about a $299 purchase from ebay. Hung up and blocked. Clearly illegal.

Same here a number from (03) 5294 0137 is a scam f*cken Indian guy by the name of Victor $299 for iTunes and advised me to download quick support viewer.

Automated call saying I owe $299 to Ebay press 1 to speak with consultant............

Same scam. Voice message left. Badly recorded. Only listened to it after I had returned what I assumed was a valid missed call as it was a local number - (03) 5294 0137. 'Jack' responded and asked me whether I was responding to the message. I told him that I hadn't heard it. He seemed ill at ease as he then had to explain what it was about..usual story...he was from e-bay and they were checking a $299.99 gift card purchase made in my name. Advised him I didn't make it. He said that they would cancel the purchase. I said that I would change my password to the account asap. He agreed that would be a good idea, that I shouldn't be concerned at the caharge and that they may be in touch. If they do ....

Another voice recording saying eBay was about to debit $299.99 from my account. Hung up and reported via calls app that this is scam after confirming my assumption here.

Rang today saying that an Itunes purchase of $299 was done on my ebay account from overseas. Said he would ring back later after I had checked my bank accounts!

Caller: I called the number back and the gentleman who received my call said his name was Rion.

Lucky I googled the number and found these statement.
Rion then transferred the call to his supervisor. The tone sounded like outside accent. I asked the supervisor to terminate the call and he did.

Its a scam, dont pick their call. they say there are calling from ebay customer care

Do not answer this call, it is an automated message from "eBay" claiming they need to approve a purchase of $299 from your account. Called the number back out of curiosity and the guy was super rude, unprofessional & for some reason confident? (he made it obvious he was a scammer). Typical Indian, sorry to generalise, hope he gets the Rona.

Same as above called my daughter then when I jumped on and abused the shot out of him they said they would kidnap my daughter! What a bunch of pathetic low life’s these scammers are! Just feel for the vunerable out there .
