I never answer calls from unknown numbers. I picked up the phone this time because it was next to me, and listened. Nothing. They didn't even bother to speak before hanging up, a sure sign of yet another call from scamming lowlifes. So I kept the line open for another 20 minutes in the hope that that might at least irritate them and stop them using the number to try to scam vulnerable people.
Please, everyone, do what so many of the authorities are doing these days and never answer a call from an unknown number, ever. Let the message, in the unlikely event that there is one, go to the answering machine/voicemail.

Same A Holes just rang me I am adding them to my telguarder block list . I really wish the Oz gov would block the voip provider until they can assure us their services are not used for this constant abuse. Have reported this to scam watch at the ACCC.

I bought stuff on TEMU, immediately after I started getting spam phone calls from the numbers I have listed below. Your details will be sold to unsolicited and fake call centres, supposedly calling themselves charities. That is how all the stuff on TEMU is cheap. Here is the list of fake phone numbers that have tried to spam me so far, just in case you get a call from one of them. I have had multiple phone calls from each number, and this started on 25 May 2023 – less than one month has passed since this this post. They are trying to extract details out of you, don't fall for it. As you can see, they are very, very persistent and will cycle through a raft of phone numbers.

Calls from this number are not from a charity. They are almost certainly not from Bairnsdale or wherever but from a spoofed number. And what anyone thinks the Do Not Call register is going to do about the flood of calls from scamming overseas criminals, literally millions of which are blocked every week by Telstra, is anyone's guess. Contact them somewhere in Cambodia and ask them nicely not to call Jenny because she doesn't like it? You might as well ask drug dealers to keep their drugs out of Australia.
Don't answer the calls. If no one ever answers, no one will be scammed and these sociopathic lowlifes will be put out of business (this method of conducting their businesses, at least). I believe that it was the CEO of Telstra I heard saying that never answers calls from unknown numbers these days. It is the only way this plague is ever going to stop.
(I never answer the phone, I blocked this number weeks ago, and still they try. It is relentless harassment.)

I get calls from this number and similar numbers from Matt at least once a week. Have spoken to him once, said I wasn't interested. Spoke to him a couple of weeks ago again, said I didn't really drink; but he's still trying to make a sale. So then I just hang up and block the number. But then I get calls from another number, all coming from Bairnsdale. He's polite, can't say it's a scam, but come on Matt, take no for an answer, people are busy trying to get on with their lives without being interrupted all the time. We own a small service business and I'm sure that if I rang my customers that often and didn't take no for an answer, then I'd never hear from them again.

Calls come up as Bairnsdale Vic. I've never been there and I don't know anyone there so I never answer. Perhaps it really comes from the Philipines what with all the phone trickery these days.

I didn't recognise this number so I didn't answer and the caller didn't leave a message.

Thanks anonymous 20th June. Makes sense to me now. I will think twice before buying anything from these kinds of companies, eg Temu, again. I will continue to block these numbers as it’s all I can do until the government does something about it. 😡

Please....... make it stop. Has do not call register given up and not told us? Someone... Anyone... needs to stop this non stop harassment on the phone. My landline is now useless. I never answer anyone who calls on here.
