Genuinely is PayPal, they are from the negative balance accounts part of PayPal. They had kept calling and calling so I decided to call the number back. He didn’t ask for any payments ect just to find out when I was making my payment, which was cleared up quickly.

They keep calling me cuz they want money . Best believe they aren’t getting sh*t. And apparently it’s PayPal. They will DEFINITELY not be getting any money

I called the real PayPal through my PayPal account and they said the number is a scam and many people have reported it to them and that if it was them contacting about overdue payments, negative balance or suspicious payments then they would contact clients via email and never phone call, they said the reason why the don’t call is they like to quote your account number and payment/order number in the email so when you do contact them you have that information and also assist with security. PayPal literally told me to block the number.

Turned off caller ID to call them back and the ONLY automated message you get while you wait to be connected is ‘you can be certain all calls and emails from us are genuine’ that is bizarre. Also if it was PayPal they wouldn’t be calling me a million times and not leaving a message.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. PAYPAL DO NOT CALL CUSTOMERS OUT OF THE BLUE. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CREDIT CARD DETAILS TO THIS NUMBER. This number is not known to PayPal. I called PayPal and confirmed this. Don’t be fooled, they are able to rattle off your details and can tell you information regarding your account.

If you have a negative balance you do NOT need to pay over the phone. You just need to make sure your financial institution has money in there and PayPal will balance it out.

It is a scam.. Last time they called me I asked them to identify themselves and they were stumped. Then I told them that I would call PayPal myself if they wanted to discuss anything and they hung up. Just like all scam call centres set up in some dodgy abandoned office building, the person had a thick Indian or Middle Eastern accent.

MAJOR SCAM ! Block the number.

Won't stop calling, getting at least 5 calls a day from this number. It's PayPal allegedly. Don't answer it block the number for peace and quiet.

I messaged PayPal and asked if they were calling me and they said they only send emails and it's not them trying to call me. Beware.

No one spoke when I answered. Can only assume it is a scam so have blocked it.

PayPal trying to call me 4 times a day (roughly) I had the number blocked and decided to call...was PayPal trying to help me clear my negative balance (which is around $350). I initially thought it was a scam caller but after reading posts on here and then deciding to find out for myself, it's indeed PayPal.

This is definitely a SCAM.

All the people saying it’s a scam are severely misguided lol, I had an overdue paypal balance so I know this is real. Sorted it and no more calls.

Keeps calling even called me at 11 pm I was like really this time of the night get a job

Kept calling so I eventually called back, I gave him the details he asked in an angry tone just to get them to shut up. I then proceeded to ask why tf they keep calling me and to stop. He said I don't owe anything on my PayPal in which I already knew🤦🏼‍♀️ I was just waiting for him to say I owed money😂

It's PayPal, I wasn't answering for weeks so I googled the number and this site came up. I ended up ringing them and my PayPal is negative due to an automatic payment. All good, they knew the exact amount and I don't think the identification questions were that bad, if they had of asked my date of birth I would have hung up.
