Woman called, supposedly from Optus, about my complaint. Thing is, I didn’t make a complaint. Suspected it was a scam call. Very hard to decipher as her very strong accent made it hard to understand and she spoke that fast I couldn’t keep up. Possibly from India. I regard every unsolicited call a scam call now. Can’t be too complacent. Thanks Optus.

Definitely Optus, I called back after they left voicemail, rectified my order and that was that. No issues, it is not a scam, totally Optus staff.

This is an Optus number. I agree, it needs a caller ID because it does seem suspicious. I have been dealing with someone from Optus recently and it is always from this particular number. My dealing has been within the NBN department of Optus. Not a scam.

Legit - I had ordered a new phone online & they were calling to confirm my details, shipping etc., how much was owing on my phone. All legit - they sent me codes to my phone and email for verification.

Called me regarding my Complaint then messaged me to call back. The only problem I had was the 1300 number I called they didn't talk on the other end. I could hear them breathing and didn't respond to me. After 3 calls later a lady answered and said the guy I needed to talk to had gone on a lunch break.

Regarding my complaint to the TIO about the cyber attack that has also affected me. I'm sorry but warning and proof that they are legit would be better than a random number calling!! I will never trust any phone call!! Due to this breach!!

This is Optus regarding an issue I have. However as I don't answer unknown numbers I didn't answer. So I now have to wait for them to call back. Tomorrow?

Missed call, then text saying it was Ginika from Optus Resolution team and they'd call back in 2 days or I can email them

2 calls from this number that I couldn't hear anyone on the other end. 3rd call advised they were Optus technical support for an issue I'd logged earlier in the day and the details checked out.

The number is genuine I had Optus issues especially NBN this number contacted me and resolved my issues

I received a call from 91743000 named Richa saying they were a customer resolution expert. I reached out to optus on 133937 to see if it was a hack. They confirmed saying that the number is legit and that it was from optus.

But i don't know who to believe anymore given the cyberattack

Message from Indian guy claiming to be from Optus to discuss cyber attack...then a text from him... something doesn't appear to be right by his phone manner and wording in his text.Can anyone add to this?
