Caller: Vodafone They called me regarding a coverage complaint that I made earlier in the day. They asked for my PIN in order to verify the person they called. How stupid can they be. Told them I would not give them my PIN. So they told me to call 1555 to get an update. The idiots called me, if they cannot verify me in other ways then we are at a stalemate.

Caller: “Vodafone” This number is a scam. People here telling that this is a legit Vodafone hotline is also part of the scam. Never give your PIN via phone call! Stay safe everyone!

Caller: Scammer pretending to be Vodafone Nonsense. Don't be stupid. There are ways scammers can enter ANY PHONE NUMBER THEY LIKE to display on your phone screen to appear genuine. It could show your mother's phone number - doesn't mean they are her. Never, ever, EVER give out PINs, passwords, and NEVER click links in emails. Hang up, look up the phone number on their website THEN phone them so you know it's really gone only to the business - and/or type the company website link MANUALLY using a keyboard, login to your account, and see if there's a "deal" or new message in your inbox in your account on their website. And don't believe them if they say something like, "You can only get this deal now, with me, over the phone." BULLsh*t! THAT'S WHAT SCAMMERS SAY. If Vodafone (or whoever) has contacted you with some deal, that means THEY were told BY THE COMPANY to contact YOU - so if the deal is real, it will ALSO be in your inbox on their site. Don't misunderstand me... You can get a phone call from Vodafone and it will display this number - but you can ALSO get a SCAMMER displaying this same number. That's why you HANG UP and call them yourself. Then, the call can ONLY go to the business, not a scammer.

Caller: Claimed to be from Vodaphone I had a call at 18h40 on Saturday night from a woman with a strong Indian accent, claiming to be from Vodafone, and that my contract was expiring, and I needed to verify my details and the call was recorded! I could sell this scam call from 10,000km away, based on several reasons which I will not share as the scammers respond to this report.. When I called back on the line I received an Australian 's woman's pre-recorded details that this was Vodafone, but it still smelled!

Caller: Vodafone They are 100% legit. It is vodafone customer care. Giving your pin is standard so they can identify you. They were contacting me to update me on a case I have with them at the moment.

Caller: Vodafone, (02) 9015 3555 I missed a call from this number. Called it back and was told it was Vodafone. That they shall call me back. I then checked my voice mail. A 3.5 minute silence, which I had to wait through so that I could delete the message. So glad I have turned my back on them.

Caller: Vodafone Having lodged a formal complaint online, making multiple calls to Vodafone call centres seeking the refund of monies owed to us on a closed account I was promised a call from a manager within 4 hours. This number called after an hour but was totally silent when answered. High probability it was Vodafone yet again delaying monies owed to me.

VODAFONE - morons always phoning, when you've specifically told them NOT TO CALL YOU, and to just ACTION what you have instructed in EMAIL. Offshore call centre staff, routing through a Sydney number, whose first language is not English, struggling to comprehend what they're doing because they're reading off a prompt sheet.

Caller: unknown Caller claims to be from Vodaphone but the number is listed as AAPT on the AMCA govt website. If this is really Vodaphone then Vodaphone thinks that Vodaphone is not good enough for Vodaphone. Suspect things are happening with Vodaphone using AAPT numbers.

Yes it is a scam. I could smell the Indian tripe.
Do not let anyone tell you it is not a scam. Stupid Indians could barely spell my surname with four letters so I'm guessing they belong in a dirty kitchen.

Not even a talking point it is spam.
Have rang me multiple times and when you ask the hard questions immediately hang up.
Very disappointing because all I was asking the Indian scammer to do was cook me a Rogan Josh or butter chicken.
The scammers are hopeless in the kitchen

Called twice and left a voice mail, claiming they are from Vodafone, calling about my TIO complaint and asked I call them back. SCAM! I do not have any services with Vodafone, but I do have a current complaint with the TIO? Odd. Part of that complaint stipulates all contact in writing onloy and that I will not take calls.

Caller: (02) 9015 3555 What in the world. Rang vodafone to arrange an order for a new phone (2 of them actually) and got held up so asked for a call back, thats when this number rang me. After providing a few points of ID, i got a bit nervous and thought... ill just be safe and ring the 1300 vodafone number again to confirm this landline number belonging to them also. Terrified when vodafone answered and this staff member said "sir i am so sorry but the number is not belonging to vodafone and i would highly advise you not to proceed with that order" and im now FREAKING out and so i tell him the above... and say to him, are you CONFIDENT this number is or isnt vodafone before vodafone loses a customer and i have to go cancel all my now unsafe identity documents. He then puts me on hold, puts me through to sales.... AND NOW THEY ARE SAYING IT IS A LEGITIMATE PHONE NUMBER. What in the world vodafone are you serious? Your own staff are fighting over whether a phone number belonging to them is or isnt a scam?!?!?!
