This number has been calling me everyday for weeks. If it isn't a scam - and I'm treating it as if it was - Vodafone are breaching their code of conduct because it is harassment and unlawful. I've told them I'm not interested every time..

They keep calling and texting all the time to push new phones or plans on me even though I have told them repeatedly that when I'm ready to change or upgrade I will call them, don't call me, but they don't listen. So sick of the constant harassment.

Whatever the person mentioned, checked out. The problem is that the person asked for my pin. Normally they never do, as you are put through an automated verification process.
Politely declined and hung up the phone.

It could easily be someone spoofing the phone number. Be aware not to give your pin number to anyone.

Received call from this number yesterday and today. I knew they are schemers, did not answer. If they legit, they would leave the message with company name and phone number. I always check on line and block the number after. I am sure it's not a Vodafone customer service, because they always follow up with rating of the service. Also their phone calls to customers are always monitored and they have to resolve your issue or try to resolve it to get good rating. When you get a phone call from schemers, you answer and no one is there to talk to you, it's because they have most likely 20-30 phone calls running simultaneously to see if they can scam someone and they can't speak to all at the same time. these calls are coming most probably from India, even code is showing Sydney.

I called Vodafone and the line didn't connect properly and we couldn't hear each other. I hung up and within a couple of minutes this number called me back and it was Vodafone.

This is legitimately Vodafone’s customer care number. I received a call about my new mobile phone plan and the caller never asked for my bank details or any money. Very helpful.
NOT A SCAM NUMBER! Just because the caller sounds foreign does NOT mean it is a scam!

Not a scam - it’s Vodafone. I was talking to their customer care when my mobile dropped out. The person I was speaking to from Vodafone called me back immediately from this number.

When I answered got background noise only, so hung up. They rang back immediately when I was talking to a customer. I had to hang up 3 times in a row before they stopped.

Tried to call me three times. Each time, being an area code which is not relevant to anyone I know or want to call me, I hung up within microseconds. Persistent scammer. Do not engage. If it's anyone important, surely they know your mobile number and can call on that!

Caller: An operator from Vodafone

I called to cancel my Vodafone Internet and everything went well. In repeated occasions the operator told me that the whole process was over and if I had any other questions. To what I asked: is everything done? And he replied Yes. A couple of minutes later he called me requesting my PIN Number to finish the cancellation process. I asked why you need that I can’t tell you my PIN. And the idiot went and asked: well I’m gonna need your full name, driver license, and date of birth. To what I said NO. Then he said trust me I’m from Vodafone. That last comment did it for me and I said thank you I’ll go to a Vodafone shop and restart the cancellation process again.
Total scam of course!!! At Vodafone shop they told the cancellation was processed so he was obviously using Vodafone phone number to commit fraud. Watch out people scammers with an Indian accent! No offence.
