Scam

Said there was a problem with my Amazon account as it appeared I had ordered an iMac Pro computer and they wanted to check and secure my payment details on file.
I said "Yes! I did order an iMac. When am I getting it?" and "why do you need my credit card? It's already been charged to my account." It went round and round in circles as I had completely thrown him off-script. He eventually swore at me and hung up. Kept him preoccupied for a few minutes - hopefully it spares someone more vulnerable from these idiotic calls!

Caller: Scam call

Male with a thick Indian accept first mentioned Amazon, then Apple then PayPal. I said "Which is it - are you calling from Amazon or PayPal?" He said PayPal. I strung him along and pretended to be clueless. After a while I just hung up.

They rang and hung up when I answered. I rang back and was told number was disconnected.

Similar to another comment here, caller had a thick accent and said there was a problem with my Amazon account asked me to open the app on my phone now - I don't have an Amazon account or the app LOL so told him I knew it was a scam & hung up.

Called me saying they were with Amazon and my account had been compromised. I played along for a short while, being vague and not answering their questions. It appears to be a scam as you could here others in the call centre asking for cc details. Hung up and will block the number.

They called yesterday went to message bank some Indian girl kept on saying hello hello hello and then hanged up.
They called me again today,
Block them.

Got a call from this number today but didn't answer it because I don't know the number. They did not leave a message so its a safe bet it is a scammer.

No response from this one, before he hung up ... again. Reoccurring. A pest!

Received a call from this number to my landline. They didn't leave a message. When I tried to call back, I received a message that the number was not connected

Telemarketer . Continues to call and when I call the number back it won't connect

Scam caller RE cheap loans

Phone beeped today at noon, whilst on an another call. Checked the number afterwards and found it in this website. Wonder why I keep getting these calls frequently.

Overseas scam callers "Government Solar Rebate” using a spoofed (fake) number. Diverted to scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

Call not requested and not known. Likely scam.

Blocked by my spam app ...... as being a top spammer. Previously purporting to be from Target. Clearly wanting to gather personal information. Advise to block, though usually there will be follow-ups with slight variations on the number.

Did not know this number so did not answer. Hung up instead of leaving a message on my answering machine.

Annoying people calling about electricity rates. I blocked them so they called me a few days later from a similar number. I hung up on the person who had a very strong Indian accent and was very pushy with their electricity offer
