Telstra calling in relation to my fault.
I was on the phone to Telstra - had received an sms from them earlier and this number kept calling while I was on the phone. I kept sending it to voicemail but they called again and again. Five times in total. Caller: Telstra Lvl 2 Technical Support

A Message was left on answering machine stating that they were Telstra re the NBN. We have had troubles with the NBN and contacted Telstra a few days ago. Caller: 02 8291 000
Too gutless to leave a message on my voice mail, typical of either telemarketer or scammer.
genuine cold caller Genuine Telstra number / employee, just doing his/her job.. This number phoned three times in quick succession and hung up each time I answered. Constant calls with no message left. Caller: Telstra Tech or someone supposedly tech oriented

this is telstra complaints department checking to see if a recent problem was resolved keeps ringing Strange I was making an inquiry on my Telstra Bill. Once the call had ended up i.e. they would not change the overcharge. I said I would gladly complete the survey at the end of call. They then did not transfer to the survey, rather they put me on hold for a few minutes and then transferred me to the survey. While the survey was being actioned Telstra called me from the above number, no message left. Poor service again. Caller: Telstra support
The call was a follow up from Telstra support to see whether an NBN problem had been resolved - essentially checking to see whether they could close the cas.

As usual got a call which I missed tried to ring back but only got a message that they would try again Why don't people leave a return number that calls them back any more it is so annoying to keep getting these calls just leave you name and calling number as I asked and I will call you back!
Its not incompetence, they actually train this apparent incompetence into their call centre operators. Its deliberate misinformation, misdirection and pretending to loose background on issues so they dont have to resolve them. This applies to any issues where they owe you money. It is fraud in my opinion. You can resolve it by continually asking to speak to their manager, then they do something constructive. Yes it was from Telstra, we are trying to sort out problems, NBN land line - phone dropping out. - with my Dad's phone - he's 86 and couldn't understand the first women caller, this was a man and he then Dad, problem wasn't fixed but he has another number to ring and a reference code to quote Caller: Telstra
Called in relation to my submission of name change request. It was a Philippines call centre though, but a legitimate call.
