Caller: Telstra Technical Support
Have had 3 simultaneous calls from this number. One on land-line, One on mobile, and another one on mobile while talking to the first one on mobile. 2 calls went to messages and callers identified themselves as from Telstra Technical and left a 1800 number to call back on. Over zealous, if anything, but I dealt with very competent people who fixed an internet drop-out problem I reported the previous day. All calls came in at about 9am and the staff were very courteous. On the previous day, the technical advisor I called on Telstra's 13 number said I would receive a call at 9am, and that's exactly what happened.
They called in regards to a complaint, but was not from anyone in my household.
Caller: Said was from Telstra
Whether this is true or not but asked for reference no. which I was given last week about a bill overcharge and he gave me the wrong 3 last numbers of the reference but said was refunding some money and then when I said that it was the wrong reference no. he hung up. Am not going to ring back will go to a Telstra shop to try and get it sorted out.
Caller: claim to be telstra
had info from a live chat I had a few days ago and left a message saying it was from live chat and wanting to 'talk to me about the price agreed'. given I have already had confirmation emails from Tesltra, regarding this, it smells fishy!
Caller: Told me it’s Telstra
Called numerous times and said they were Telstra customer service but aí don’t have any accounts with Telstra and haven’t for years so I think it’s a scam
Caller: Apparently telstra
Two on two minutes ,went to audio messages and there wa no one there.Telstra are so incompetent with overseas operators which half the time I don’t think know the English language, ongoing saga with them into the 5th week, they keep telling me it’s fixed It’s NOT.
Caller: Telstra possibly
I think it might be Telstra, but they run a strange support system. I was sent a new NBN modem and wireless router. Wireless didn't work and I registered a complaint, specifying email contact. Got a call instead on my mobile (not with Telstra) from someone with a very difficult accent who said they'd help with my email problem, asking a bunch of security questions. I declined. A stupid way to run a help desk if it really is Telstra.
Caller: I didn't answer
A lot of online reports are that it is legitimate Telstra business from call centre in asia. But i am not with Testra (I will never ever sign up to Telstra) so it is unlikely that it is a Telstra call to me. So i am marking it as suspicious and, based on other reports online, suspected SCAM. I have blocked the number. - Ser
Multiple calls from Telstra on account of a complaint about being billed for about a week when internet service was not available. I do not want another pointless conversation just waive the charges. This has been going on for months and I want all further exchanges to be in writing (and in English).
Caller: Telstra (NBN)
Calling to confirm that an issue I had with NBN has been resolved. Not a sales number as far as I can tell.
Phillipino call centre for Telstra following up on a support ticket i had lodged a little while ago Caller: Telstra
Constant spam calling from overseas (usually the phillipines)... answer and hang up.
keep ringing me doesn't stop but my phone telling me it Scam call rang regarding complaint, told him there was NO complaint. Rang again and gave ref numbers for me, but demanded ID from me, was told it was not needed as I knew who I was, and had no complaint My NBN internet service keeps dropping out. When it happens, I have no telephone landline service. I am a "priority assistance" Telstra customer, due to health problems, and require access to a reliable telephone useage.
The 'old' telephone 'copper wire' connection service, prior to hook-up with Telstra's new NBN technology, was much more reliable. In the event of the internet service going down, due to power failure, or modem faults, at least I still had a landline telephone access, to make outside calls. No mucking around with a mobile telephone back-up, whose battery must always be 'charged' or your stuffed, or the endless time consuming and frustrating run-around treatment by Telstra with pre-recorded voice operator telephone messages, for technical support with persons based in Philippines, of all places.
I got three message calls from the number (02) 8291 1000 recently after the last technical difficulties episode a few days ago. Now I don't know (after reading the mixed comments about this number) whether to treat the calls as legitimate or scam/nuisance.
Have been having trouble with NBN internet keeps dropping out this has been on going for 6 months really don’t like NBN nothing but problems still having problems 23/05/2019
Telstra calling in relation to my fault.
I was on the phone to Telstra - had received an sms from them earlier and this number kept calling while I was on the phone. I kept sending it to voicemail but they called again and again. Five times in total. Caller: Telstra Lvl 2 Technical Support
