Caller: Telstra Who needs terrorists when you have Telstra? Without any warning at all they simply turned off all vital internet and phones and eftpos from a vital health care business without any viable solution for 48 hours creating an extreme public danger and massive loss of business into the thousands a day. “It is not our fault, the nbn is to blame and government legislation, this may take weeks to sort out... we just can’t help you please hold” perhaps a free modem may make your experience better? Yes absolutely, a free modem will fix everything including all the pissed off customers and lost good will that took years to build. Not sure about all those people who tried to call with urgent health issues they may well be dead... not really sure as we don’t have a working phone yet, but a free modem yep..... Wow..... thanks yes I Sure am a satisfied Telstra customer, please where can I sign up for more terrorism? Considering Telstra has now cost us about ten thousand dollars not including good will, do you suppose we want to hold on one and talk about what was a completely avoidable situation even in the 1970’s but please why not outsource your complaints department some more so we can’t even talk in English and make the phone call last all day passing between various random accents getting nowhere before we accept your free modem as we have time for that! so we can now show it to our surviving customers- I’m sure they will also be thrilled.

This is Telstra - Ombudsman Complaints Department It is not a scam - but i was told by the ombudsman that my complaint would be handled by a Australian call centre and this number is associated with an Indian call centre. I was told my case manager would be in australia but after my case manager rang on this number he told me that he was in fact in India and no complaints or account payment queries are handled in australia.. Bad form Telstra

Caller: Telstra Year long shenanigans with Telstra - formal complaint to billing, complaints and CEO - cos you cannot speak to anyone sensible. Told them I would speak to them if they emailed me and gave me the phone umber they were calling from first, as well as the representative's name, employee number and date of birth (for my own security purposes!!!) but they still try calling unannounced. The worst large company within Australia. Now transferred everything to Aussie Broadband who are 1000% better than Telstra

Caller: Telstra Scam call from Telstra. I am not a Telstra customer. They knew my name. Foriegn call centre. I am not sure who the bigger scammer is, the fake Telstra scammers or Telstra themselves. Telstra is a disgraceful company. People are so used to bad service, that when foriegn call centres call that can barely speak english to seems like legitimate Telstra service.

Very annoying getting constant calls from this number. I have google searched the number and as a result of this have blocked the number.....No message left just the calls which I don't answer as I don't recognise the number.

They said Telstra, and were ranging about a dispute, then asked for a full name, age and address. Told him if he's from Telstra to check his records, and bugger off and go take a flying leap.

This number has been calling back a few times with weird and wonderful excuses about why the services are only partially cutoff, never a proper explanation (We churned 4 weeks ago and no physical adsl line exists any more) for why or what isn't properly disconnected. Now they are trying to get me to keep the email address which doesn't exist, I suspect so they can keep the billing going, not going to happen.
First thing I did when I decided to switch was remove all credit card details to make sure they couldn't bill me, heheheh.
My scan radar is strobing. Overseas drones, bad Enlish, lack of credible explanation for anything.
