Received call today, I did not initially answer as I did not recognise the number & thought it a scam.
I had filed a complaint against Telstra & was issued a reference number by the TIO. Our landline number was given to TIO so Telstra could respond re this complaint.
The TIO has issued Telstra our UNLISTED mobile number (which is with another carrier), when they were specifically instructed to issue the landline only
They are as hopeless as Telstra.
I later phoned the number, only to hear a message redirecting me to yet another Telstra number.
What a web they weave !!!
Our complaints will now be escalated on both counts.
Caller: (02) 8291 0000
Received a call from this number on 7 July 2019. I saw it began with 02, I thought it might be telstra as I I received several calls in January 2015 from a number beginning with 02. I then found out at that time that it was telstra as other people received call from a number beginning with 02. I turned on my answering machine, when they heard the answering machine they hung up. If you receive calls from a number beginning with 02 while your phone is ringing and displaying the number and you have an answering machine, turn it on.
Caller: Some man claiming to be with Telstra Complaints
I never lodged a complaint but Telstra, or whoever, won’t let that stop them. Six phone calls in as many minutes. Perhaps I should lodge a complaint, but they don’t seem capable of dealing with a complaint.
It's telstra complaints line calling back. Impossible to return the call however. You get a message saying they'll try again
Caller: Somebody, who said their name was Nicole, perporting to be from from Telstra.
The message was from someone called Nicole from Telstra. Had this before, saying that the internet would be cut off within 24 hrs. I do not think it's from Telstra.
Caller: Telstra Business Centre
I called them last week about a fault in our workplace NBN internet, they called back today on this number to follow up and make sure everything was going okay.
Caller: Telstra Complaints (Ombudsman Referral)
I complained with the Ombudsman about poor internet and phone service ongoing one year, Telstra department replying to that complaint. No scam.

and they are bloody useless 15 days no internet due to area outage and no resolution in sight. Clearly have told them when I can be called, but now outage effecting my mobile so cannot use my MAC or my mobile unless plugged into Mac and using phone hot spot- brilliant telstra NOT!!
It is Telstra calling but if you call them back you will be charged a national phone call charge. This company I have listed as "they cant provide" I to am trying to deal with them re a complaint.
Telstra Customer Complaints Resolution Team. The rude individual/s called me and when I answered they kept me on holding on, then hung up on me.

It is definitely Telstra complaints department. I do have an issue so not a scam. About a long running service issue. Even though they have clear instruction not to call my home land line number they keep doing it. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, eh. Yet another example of the couldn't care less attitude taken by the Australian customer service management hierarchy of Telstra. Don't give out any personal information when they call you, ask for a reference number and call them back on the public number. Telstra complaints team, not a scam This number is not spam, or a scam. And in my case, their service was good. They called me in response to a complaint that I raised. I missed their call, and they left a recorded message with full details for contacting them. When I called them back, they fixed my problem, quickly and courteously. Yep - lodged a complaint last August....person can't even get my name correct is the messages he's left - so I ignore them! that made me day It is for TIO complaints. But it's still coming from India.
