In most cases calls are made randomly to landlines or mobile numbers across Australia. In some cases when we call mobiles we will first need to check if you live in the area in which a given survey is being conducted.

While none of our surveys are compulsory, our clients and ourselves appreciate your participation. In order to ensure that our surveys are representative, McNair yellowSquares is permitted to call both silent numbers and numbers that are on the Do Not Call Register. However, you may request not to be called by us.

Note that for most surveys the Government require us to make several attempts to call your number. From time to time the system may mistakenly hang up on you. This may occur during peak interviewing times. We apologise for any inconvenience.

All telephone surveys conducted by McNair yellowSquares may be monitored or recorded for training and quality control purposes. Respondents have the option to discontinue the survey at any time.

McNair yellowSquares conducts interviews during the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 10am to 8:30pm
Saturday: 10am to 5pm
Sunday: 10am to 5pm (as required)

I recognise the number and did not pick up the phone, let it ting out.
I am also on do not call, but Telstra does not care.
I write the numbers down so I can remember them for the future,
I am an old woman and this disturbs me.

Always hang up on unrecognizable callers. This one is persistent and a bloody nuisance of an evening. I am never interested in cold callers.

If you answer, you'll hear it put you on hold while it connects you to an operator. It's unwanted spam.

I always check then block if it’s a scam or survey. They rang after 8pm thurs.
What a load of rubbish.

Keep getting several calls a day but mostly around tea time. No-one speaks. It is scary - like a stalker is after you.

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

I have received calls from this number and can not blame Telstra, they can not stop someone dialling your number and these offshore spammers / scammers do not pay attention to the do not call register.

Sick of them I just block them all now

No message left. Another scam call, another number blocked.

Utilised Google Screening service and the caller hung up once Google said "Please state name and reason for calling"

Nuisance Call / Spam / Marketing - HANG UP and BLOCK

they called again and hung up again with no message when the answering service worked

they have called each night around this time of 6 pm and then hang up when answering service starts stupid pricks if we do not know the number we do not answer the call

they called left some bullsh*t message we could not understand so reckon on scammers
