Agree - this must have been Telstra coz later in the day they called me a couple of times with "No caller ID" and then they went thru the full identification procedure

The call provided an automate voice that stated there was an amount of 128.40 (or some number about that) overdue and then provided my year of birth and asked my day and month of birth which I did provide. It then provided options to pay. I took the latter of each option and got to speak to some. They refused to provide me with the account number and hung up on me. If it is Telstra then they were extremely unprofessional.

They rang on mobile and home phone with the same rigmarole, so far half a dozen times over the last couple of days Ive contacted Telstra and they are aware of the scam.

Tried the call, it's a Telstra automated system if you are late with your bills. It isn't a scam as it cross checks your date of birth and tells you the outstanding amount and asks if you can commit to future payment and when. It's not a fraud as it knows my balance details, this info wouldn't be right if it was fake. Legit Telstra call.

called me 11 times over last four days. I rarely use my mobile so only few ppl have my number. I let it ring, they don't leave message so obviously dodgy.

Had a few calls from this number on my mobile recently, usually in the mornings. Suspected it might be a scam or pesky caller. No voice message left. Checked Reverse Australia and whaddya know. Block block block!

I've had six calls to my mobile in the past 2 days and also the landline a number of times. I don't know the number so out of curiosity I answered one tonight on the landline and the automated female voice, Australian, said it was Telstra. Bullsh*t. Hung up. How do I block these idiots?
