I called Commonwealth Bank immediately after being called. They're legitimate.

Claimed from CBA. SENT TEXT to say they will send email. Never got email. I work for another bank. NEVER give personal details. We already have them! Why would we ask!!!! This is a scam. The branch will keep noted if ANYONE called. I called 132221 the CBA number & there was no records. This is a SCAM!

Scam! Don't ever give your bank details to anyone unless you started the call. The bank won't ask you to do that. I had one this morning asking me to verify my profile details. I asked them to send it via email which they did ( to an address I don't have registered with the bank )

This is a new team in the CBA charged with verifying incomes and purposes fpor accounts. They said it was an Anti-Laundering Survey.

Caller: Commonwealth Bank

Recently opened a business profile with CBA and got a call from this number to get information from me. Felt unsure about giving my information over the phone so they gave me alternatives like going into branch. I continued anyway and gave the information they needed and a few hours later my acc was open. Luckily it wasn’t a scam number

Wentao Luang why would you cooperate with the person. They called you, you did not call them. Don't trust anyone who calls you about banking details unless you know them from the bank yourself. Hope you did not lose any funds. Good luck.

Told me he was from the commonwealth bank and wanted to update my accounts. Why would the bank call a customer that does not know them. Scammer. I said I'm not with that bank. Hang up on them if they call you.
