I missed the call but I decided to call them back in case I felt it was a family member. Turns out the voicemail was really weird . No one was talking and had a connection problem. The sound was like a buzzing on trying to find a signal .

When answered a recorded message in Chinese is played.

Called twice.
Left messages: first time in Chinese and second time only said my surname.
Do not answer

The number called me but I didn’t answer. Though a message was left, which I listened to...... it was a Chinese lady talking fast in Chinese!!! So no idea??? Will get my Chinese friend to tell me why she was saying.

It is the fax number of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra. It phoned my mobile so I don't see how a fax line would phone a mobile number.

Recorded message in Chinese, considering I do not speak any other language but English, I would say this is spam

Female person has left a long message on my answering service, message was in Chinese dialect. A friend of mine has listened to the message and has advised that the message is a recording in Mandarin of the news that is being played back on my voice mail. This is a huge scam, do not call the number back - they have been calling lots of random numbers.

Spam caller, don’t answer. A woman was speaking Chinese in the message also.

Twice in 3 days - full Chinese msg left. Probably the lawyers trying to give me the 5million my Uncle Fong left us in his will earlier!!

I answered my mobile phone to this number and there was a message in Chinese. There was also a voicemail earlier in the week. I would suggest not answering.

I didn't recognize the number so let it go to voicemail. When I listened to the message it was a recorded message in Chinese - have no idea what she was saying unfortunately. Feels like spam.
