can not understand what the voice on the other side was saying as it was in Chinese

maybe they will transfer the money in your account away, do no answer or recall.

i got these calls after i looked for a trip to europe with air china.coincidence ?

It’s a scam that speaks Chinese calling from ACT Canberra it’s happened to me twice now

It is a recorded message in Chinese. I received another similar message the same day from a different cell phone as well!

Same as all these other comments. Didn’t answer but checked message bank. A woman speaking in Asian. No idea what she was saying. Figured it was a wrong number until reading these other comments.

Both my wife and I got this call on 21 April 2018. Message was in Chinese. I have it on voicemail. I fed the audio into the Google translater and it said it was the Chinese Embassy and something about following them. It went for about a minute.

same as above... i had a voicemail message- lady rambling in Chinese. very weird

It’s a prerecorded voice message speaking Chinese and stated that this is a China embassy and you’ve an important documents/parcel to be pick up from he embassy from your families!
And I read from news and knew it was a scam/cons call to ask you to transfer money for your family member as they’re in jail or etc.
Just block the numbers!
By the way I’m not from China!!

When I answered The Call was On hold with the old recorded music. Hung up straight away

The phone number came up from the ACT but spoke only Chinese, hung up and blocked the number.

From ACT. Answered, no response so hung up. Potential scam caller??

I picked up the call and a Chinese lady started speaking. And hung up straight away. The number shows up as the location of Canberra ACT

Didn’t answer but they left a message on what I assume is Chinese. It sounded almost robotic and recorded. Actually found it kind of creepy.

It is a hoax. Just hang up.
