Caller: private number

call from CBA asking to confirm my name, date of birth and so on. I asked why they called me in private number they said for general purpose, before she proceeded, i shut down my phone before they call me again.

Didn't answer, but upon reading that its a CBA it was interesting for me because I have never banked with CBA!

It wasn't Commonwealth Bank, they were pretending to be CBA.

No doubt this is a scam!!!

automatic phone call said they are from CBA, asking your date of birth and lots of personal information. Please be very careful as the bank said they will never use a automatic phone call to the customers. do not answer and block this.

Automated phone call claiming to be commonwealth bank and ask for account number to proceed with call.
I have spoken with commbank and they do not need to speak me.
