It is comm bank, I always start getting calls from this number when my credit card is overdue, every time without fail.

All these comments on here saying it’s an automated call and it’s a scam... it really isn’t. They’re calling coz your due for a payment that you are about to miss or have missed. They’re not asking for your passwords, they’re asking for your details so they can talk to you about the bills you owe. You don’t feel comfortable calling the number back, you don’t want to give personal details, you don’t want calls, call the legit number 132221 and pay your bill

Highly suspicious phone call and the automatic record said they are from CBA and they even know your name. Please go to your local bank before you enter any account information via the phone.

so they called me and i don't answer numbers that are not in my phone. i rang the number back on my work phone.
says they are com bank and to enter your account number or combank ID number. no options to by pass and speak to some one directly

called the REAL com bank and they give you an option if you don't know your number.

I’ve received two calls from this number today. The voicemail left said it was CBA and to contact them back ASAP. I called the REAL commonwealth bank support number and they told me that they can’t see anything in their end of why I’d be getting a call, I don’t owe money/bills and there are no suspicious activities on my account. They said the call is most likely a phishing scam.
Some people in the comments have said this number is CBA, they are wrong and I hope they haven’t given their details out.

Basically, what everyone else has said.

The real Commbank will always tell you why they're calling, and not ask you for details up front unless it's a HUMAN who is doing verification of the customer. Even then, they won't ask for your account number, they'll look that up themselves once they get your DOB, name, and address.

On top of all this, my phone said the number is Newcastle based. This is just some private land line. Real CBA use 13 -- -- numbers.

Just had this number call this morning, recorded female voice saying this is CBA, a call for (my name) this is not a scam, press any number to continue..I hung up because I'm not pressing any number, don't care who they claim to be. I figure if they are for real then a real person would speak to me and even then I'd ring the bank back and ask.

This is not CBA do not give them your personal details. CBA always tell you the reason for their call prior to asking for personal details.

It's definitely the Commonwealth Bank. No scam call. I just wish they'd leave a bloody message and stop calling from multiple numbers.

leaves a message telling me it's from com bank. I rang com bank myself asked them if they need to talk to me.. com bank said no and the number That’s calling you isn't from them. so don't answer the call and report number to com bank as it's a scam number

Receiving numerous calls for past 5 days from this number. Finally did reverse look up to find the number belongs to CBA Financial Services.
Never speaks when I am called and didn’t even ring when I tried to call back.
Disgusted with this spam calling from CBA.

This is a legitimate CBA collections number. they ring if you owe money. if you don't want to confirm details with them, call the 13 number on the back of your card, and ask to speak to the collections team, because the normal banking and the collections systems are different, so the normal banking team can't see when collections have attempted to call you.

Genuine call. Overdue payment on Credit Card. They call when I have missed the minimum payment.
But as a rule of thumb - dont discuss and finances over the phone. Always go into the bank😉

(02) 4086 5270 called me. I had to call back. After I said Hello the phone was immediately put down. I called back on a different mobile phone number and hung up. they then called me back claiming to be visa and MasterCard security department. Told me I had two charges against my debit card - could i verify them. When I asked who the transactions were with they hung up. Definite scammer.

Not a scam call (I forgot to pay my overdraft when I was on holiday for two weeks...Whoops 😅)

Called saying they were from CommBank and I had overdue fees and debits that caused my account to go into severe arrears and they needed me to make payment.......I DONT OWN AN ACCOUNT AT COMMBANK AT ALL.....SPAMMERS THROUGH AND THROUGH
