This is an automated call to let you know about overdue payments/late overdraft payment etc.

Not a scam call (I forgot to pay my overdraft when I was on holiday for two weeks...Whoops 😅)

Called saying they were from CommBank and I had overdue fees and debits that caused my account to go into severe arrears and they needed me to make payment.......I DONT OWN AN ACCOUNT AT COMMBANK AT ALL.....SPAMMERS THROUGH AND THROUGH

AVR system calling me asking me to enter my details
I do have a combank account .
But not overdue or anything like that.
"hello this is an important call for (My Name in full) from the Commonwealth Bank. This is not a marketing call. Please press any key to continue"
I called them back and they said :
"Welcome to the commonwealth Bank, your call is important to us, you can now chat to Cebre .... our records indicate the number you are calling from is for account ending in (my details). If this is correct please press 1. If this is incorrect please press 2"
I pressed 2 of course.
"please hold while I transfer you to the next available team member. To ensure our standard of service is maintained, this call is being recorded for monitoring and training purposes. We may need to collect personal information from you including your name, family , and finacial situation. If you provide to us any sensative personal information on this call, such as details about your health, you consent to us collecting it, if you do not consent to having this information captured, please let our representaive know."

Is a scam. I called Commbank direct after the call and Commbank confirmed it is not a number they use.

CBA had no idea who this was. They advised that it was likely a scam call, given that it started with a little information and asked for more.

No it's not. I don't have a Commbank account so why would they call... 100% a scam.

It was "ebay" telling me about a payment that was being deducted. BLOCK CALLER.

This is not Commonwealth Bank, they called me saying I owe bills, yet I don't have a commbank account and never had one so....

I didn't answer. Have called me twice today. Did not leave a message. If they're from CBA then DEFINITELY a scam. I don't bank with CBA

Caller: Phishing call

If there’s any doubt that it’s a scam I checked my account and made sure it wasn’t in arrears, and still get calls repeatedly from rotating numbers. Scam. Most likely phishing. Never give bank details over the phone on a non official number. No legit bank would use this practice.

Called me numerous times yesterday and today. Spoofed number with robo-tone claiming to be from CommBank as already mentioned numerous times above. Better to block immediately.

Claimed it was CBA, wanted partial details to confirm it was me, so hung up. Called CBA, whom said no one has attempted to call me today.

I have NetBank app which send alerts, so I don't know why I'm getting calls from this number if it is actually Commonwealth Bank.
Have been getting a few of these calls in the last week. When I went onto my app, there was a notification that my Neo card payment was overdue. This is a new card I recently acquired, so maybe it is a call from Commbank. Weird though. Why not just SMS through the app?

Get constantly calls in the last two weeks from this number and if you answer its a prerecorded message saying its from the commonwealth bank and they have a important message and to press any call to continue. Its a obvious scam call.
