This is a scam to do with money laundering I suspect. It is an adjunct to romance scam from Nigeria

Ludicrous phone message from a scamming Mastercard and Visa robot (yes, evidently those massive multinational competitors have suddenly merged!) telling me that I need to confirm exactly the same ridiculous charge to my account that other people, who must also have astonishingly huge credit card limits, have apparently placed on their cards.
Pathetic bottom feeders.
