Called my work office claiming to be from NAB. I am new to this work place and have never given NAB the details. Called NAB to confirm they weren’t trying to call me. Complete scam, with a form of stalking, how did they know to contact me here. I have no debts old or new

Caller: Some weirdo from Nigeria basically telling me i owe him money. I assume it was citibank's offsiders after reading the comments

the number came up as citibank but unrecognised so did not pick up & checked here. Wow, the comments. Yes, I am in same boat, I have paid my debt to citibank & every so often I get a call that leaves a broken message that cannot be understood, asking me to call back I think - I cannot understand it. There is 5 calls today, but usually 2-3 calls every day....this is the first day with this number....usually private number comes up

I rang them 60 times in about 120 minutes "true story"

Have been calling me repeatedly about a Citibank debt.

Thing is I've never had a Citibank account, and the details they have for me are wrong (except for my old surname), wrong firstname, wrong address, wrong other details.

Didn't give out any info just strung them along to get as much out of them as possible.

So an Indian sounding fella from (Supposedly) from Citibank rang me from +1800204884, wanting financial details. I said I would ring Citibank directly, but he said the only number I could ring was +1800204884. When I rang Citibank with there correct details, Citibank did not know number or person. Reffered it to their security team. Be-careful people!

Hey guys - I've just recieved a call from this mob. They have tracked down where I work and are calling directly into reception - Rob Walker is the name he is using. Can shed some light on what I should do. I'm thinking of just ignoring all of their calls and hoping they go away that pretty much what I did to Citi Bank which has lead us to this point. Do they have any leg to stand on in getting money out of me? Or can I just ignore all of their demands. It's frustrating they are calling through my work. I am going to tell the girls to tell him I no longer work here. Would love to hear any experiences of a) ignoring them and not paying a cent b) did you negotiate money with them. Cheers.

10 years ago...? Thats well past the statute of limitation which is 7 years... Tell them to go to hell and they have no case against you.
