Please don't answer them. I got an email from freeman collection and asked me to call the number 1300 531 916, I asked my lawyer who told me that do not response to them. Bad people are playing scam!!! Be careful every good people.

I haven't bothered calling, obviously a scam

This is a scam - received this sms to call back on the 1300 number but when you go to the actual website, they have a different 1300 number. Beware ppl.

I received a text from 04085148670 and an email from Marshall Freeman Collections <collections @ marshallfreeman.com> both quoting reference EA42475290801 and a return phone 13005310916.
When I rang the 1300 number and advised I had been contacted, and asked what it was about, the man asked for my full name and address before he could talk about it.
I offered the reference number and he insisted on my Full name and address. I told him I have no business with him and have no debts and he can send me a letter.
He then hung up.

they texd me a message demanding $834.05 be paid by Bpay to biller code 929745 ref 102601304. The message claimed that I owed the debt to Custodian Vualts Pty Ltd (misspelt vaults). Checked out Custodian Vaults, they are a secure deposit box firm....never done any business with them.

got a msg on my phone to ring urgently and got a quote number rung the number msg said number could not be connected I don't have any debts or credit cards possibly a scam using a legitimate company be wary I deleted message and blocked the number

they didn’t call me (yet) but i received an email in regards to a debt i owe and to only discuss with them and not the original creditor, and threatened to send a written letter to my postal address if i didn’t respond to them at a certain date. i emailed them back yesterday (6/2/2026) but after doing some research, i have a bad feeling about this email i received. this number that was on the email is not morgan freeman collection that i had seen on the website. please stay safe and contact the organisation/company you’re in debt with.

Then they started calling in Private Numbers or Unknown Numbers. Trying to con personal information out of me. I told the woman with an Australian Accent that I have spoken to a Lawyer and Police about their harrassing calls and I'm not interested in their Scam and to cease and desist. She became very irate and told me if I don't give her my details that she will phone every day for the next 5 years.
Total con artists. Do not call, do not answer and do not reveal private information to them.

"Please call Marshall Freeman Collections as a matter of urgency on 1300 531 916 quoting reference EA60395367176 about an unpaid $194.87 from Clarkes Appliance Maintenance blah blah blah. The text came through on my medical radiology number, so everything is looking suspicious. I picked up a call from a 'private number' which I should never have done. and I cannot block this number My name is wrong and they didn't even have my email, which I stupidly gave them. Now they are sending dodgy invoices that don't look kosher.

Private number called me, professional Australian woman's voice left a message saying to call back Marshall Freeman on 1300 531 916 quoting ref EA*******. I have no outstanding debts and glad that I read this page with all the similar stories as I will not be calling back.

Message left on my answer phone. Wrong name given as the person they wanted to speak to, although the surname was correct. Didn't catch the caller's name but they gave me a long reference number beginning with 'A' and said to ring them on 'a matter of urgency'. The female caller had a very nice, ordinary Australian accent, not the usual Indian accent that I associate with scams. Sneaky! After reading these messages, I don't think I'll return their call. Thanks, Reverse Australia and all the above message-leavers.
