Have had several calls from this number the last few weeks, we either don't answer or when we do there's no one there. We tried calling it back and it says " number is not connected"

Telemarkerters. Blocked them, rude people.

Always rings at dinner time. My number is on the DNC register an this doesn't stop this annoying caller. Surely it is an invasion of privacy providing my phone number to a third party on a line I am paying for. If the call is so important why don't they ever leave a message?

I too get frequent calls from this number and from others. They interrupt my day. No use returning the call to find out who it is. I have written to my federal MP to tell her that the "do not call" register is not working. The response was a standard letter explaining that there is a "Do not call" register, and that I should apply.

having the same problem as everyone else ... how do I block them when I am on the dnc register. ?? they ring me up to 4 times a day and I don't answer anymore.

Calls frequently. Last time 27/11/15 - No message left

i have a rule, i never answer unless i know who is calling and do not return calls unless message left. this works for me. it doesn't stop the crap calls though, and i am on the no call register. they eventually get bored. i am glad i am not one of those people obsessed with their phones. let it ring...

Got rude indian guy doing a survey on post codes, told him were to go (politely) he just keeps on calling my mob, when I try to call him I get a recorded voice saying " This number is not connected, please check the number and try again" Telstra get yer self sorted and stop this menace !!!!!

This number is persistently calling and hanging up. Someone trying to get their call stats up I expect. Now blocked.

Very persistant caller, have blocked because only message that was left was full of foul language.

Yep same deal. Had a missed call, when I rang back it sai that the number was disconnected.

dodgy call

Tried calling for weeks. We finally answered and they did a postcode survey. On the face of it is seemed innocuous until a follow up call was received from (02) 9188 3649. This guy claimed to be from 'contact 1' andwas talking about being eligible for a govt tax concession. Sounded bogus and when challenged he got pushy. He was planning on sending around a representative to do financial planning. When I told him it was dodgy he got abusive and I hung up.

Just received a call on my mobile from this number. Male with foreign accent said he was not selling anything and was doing a "Postcode Survey" and then said my postcode and the name of my town but he got the pronunciation completely wrong. He kept protesting and trying to talk over me when I told him I didn't think he was actually in Australia and that I had no intention of participating in any survey, that I was on the DNC register, and to never call me again. I then hung up.

Called. He said " Hello, I'm Mark. Sorry, wrong number." Grrrrr.

Yep sent it to message bank as I was on a call. Message was left but it was only background noise. Rang back and the number is disconnected. How can that be. Must be someone tapping in to phone lines to try to scam people

Keeps ringing and hangs up when answered. So much for the Do Not Call Registery
