Been bombarded by this number trying to con something about solar.Pests

I just had a call from this number, which I did not answer.
After reviewing this list, I think I did the right thing.

Grrr - this is so annoying. Rude Indian man calling re solar rebate - Asking if I was Mrs W.... - I asked who was calling, he told me, I asked him to remove my number from the list and he said straight out NO. I told him he has to and he said NO. Asked to speak to his manager response - NO - asked which company he was calling from - Hung up on me.

At least after the deathly silence of the phone line it a computerised voice says " Good Bye"

I just had a 5.30pm call from this number, which I did not answer.
After reviewing this list, I think I did the right thing.

Just another scammer as usual and the person calling cannot hardly speak English, hence why bother

this number has called 8 times this month and never leaves a message. I presume it is a telemarketer

Indian asking about Solar Panels, very annoying and persistent

Solar scam. I also said I live in a cave.

Rang and because of delay I hung up. So those that have an old phone like me and can't block the caller I just add the number to my phones contacts and label 'don't answer 1' (then number each nuisance call from there) and also change the ring tone to 'off' for that number. Still doesn't stop me running to the phone and maybe stubbing my toe on the way :/

Please I do not want solar panels and I do not want to receive these phone calls always at an inconvenient time. Please can they take me off their books as I have asked them time and time again.

Had this number call again on our home number, also a silent number AND on the DNC register. Caller had my first name but surname not even close. 'Am I speaking to Sarah ASLKJDUASF?' - me 'no you are not' and he hung up. Calling the number back, has 2 rings and then hangs up. So fed up with these BS calls at dinner time. Literally 10 minutes before I had someone else call re a problem with the windows on my computer... I asked him if he honestly thought I was going to fall for his call, after suggesting her get a brain and a life I hung up on him.

So sick to death of these nuisance calls . Being elderly AND HAVE THESE PERSISTENT PEOPLE RING NO END OF TIMES IS GETTING TO BE A JOKE...Have told them not interested but still call..IAlso have do not call register but why have it if this still happens??? If wasnt for my up bringing there would be words you cannot mention in public..Makes you so angry as told them previous not interested..

i just got this one this morning, asked for mrs ? i said wrong number sorry and hung up, he then rang back, and was telling me about how he might have the wrong name but he has the right number! lol i asked who they were ? he said solar panel rebate and that we should get panels on our roof if we dont have them so we can get rebate! i then proceded to tell him that, "

If you want to block nuisance calls like this one, you have the option of buying a phone from a Telstra Shop that can do this, it is called the Telstra Call Guardian 301. Other devices such as Fritz!Box modem router also have extensive call blocking features.

Another one batted into the bit bucket by my Fritz!Box today.

I have this number in my call blocker app as a scammer, landline diverted to mobile and I see this number gets blocked many times - a persistent caller, who is obviously not a charity and blatantly disregards the DNC register, why can't these people be stopped?
Why are these people always Indian??
