I answered and they asked for Mr or Mrs (blank) and I told them they didnt live here. They then asked for the home owner, once again I said they didnt live here. They asked if I rented and I said no so they asked if I was the daughter of the homeowner and I said why does it matter? They then asked how old I was and what was my name, I replied with a random name said in a way they couldnt understand and said I was in my teens. They said that they were 18 and were a med student from Brisbane. They asked if I was in school and I said well dah that's a little obvious isnt it and they said ok just asking and they asked what I wanted to do in the future and I asked how any of this was relevant. They then asked if I had Facebook and said I was very beautiful. By this point I was bored of the conversation and said no I dont, what's the point of this conversation and they told me they just wanted to talk. I was over it so I decided to end it and said "Look I've got my period and I've just bled everywhere and I was in the middle of cleaning up the massacre when you called and interrupted so I'm going to hang up now", and hung up on them. They then called back about 2mins later so I picked up the phone and placed it straight back down.

They rang today, about solar rebate and I asked the name of the company - she replied MOP Services. I asked how they got my number and she replied from electoral rolls, phone books etc. I asked if she knew of the DNC register and she replied "yes". I asked if she knew if I was on the DNC register and she answered "yes". I then asked why she called me and she started apologising. I asked her to delete my number from there records and then told her I would report the company to the DNC register. I then told her where to go.
I repeatedly report calls to DNC and have not heard a response from them for a long time - waste of time, but I'll still report pricks like this.

I also would like to know why the "Do not call register", doesn't stop these nuisance calls from Indians.

just received a call from this number asking for standard MR/MRS, said they were not home but 'Kelly' wouldn't say what this was about or leave a return number. What's the point of the Do Not Call Register if it doesn't stop nuisnace calls and I fail to understand why the telco's can't block these clowns...

Kathy from this number rang just now, asked what she was ringing about, solar panel rebate she said. Told her I was on the do not call register, then she hung up. It seems that the DO NOT CALL REGISTER is useless! I have now blocked this number.

Ricki rang at about 8.00 pm starting with do I have solar panels. Told him not interested. Started to say not selling anything. Said again no interested and hung up. 2 minutes later rang back and told me I was a "mad woman". Good one.

Strongly accented lady asks me if I'm the owner of the house. Wtf.
How stupid do you need to be to not work out that's wrong. They deserve all that's coming their way! What did they think would happen if you go wasting people's time like that??

Hi thanks for this information. I have just found this feature on my phone and have blocked this number. They have in the past called me over 30 times and I constantly tell them to not call me. If they try and use another number in the future I will also block this one too. Many thanks again.

Tell them you're in a unit and can't have panels and they go away very quickly.

Got a call from a woman who asked if she was speaking with the owner of the house, Mrs (my last name). I said that I was renting and couldn't help, she asked if there were solar panels installed and asked if I was interested in rebates. I hung up on her mid-sentence. These people have been calling on and off to my landline and mobile for the last 3 months. So much so that I now recognise the different numbers. Calling the number back gets a bot saying "the person at extension 3390 is unavailable, please leave a message".

I just ask them to hang on a minute after i answer, put the phone down and leave them waiting.

(08) 6245 0477 called and my son answered. After playing their game my son said " what is solar" and the guy called him stupid. Well who is the stupid one that called a teenager how played them like fools.

A lady with Indian accent and a lot of background noise, saying...the government gives $3000 rebate... I said: stop annoying people and let them call you if they feel like they need your service. I haung up.

A foreign man - rang twice yesterday - asked if I had roller blinds on my windows, knew my address, but only got half of my name. Told him not interested in random phone calls.
AND then he called again today so just hung up. DO NOT CALL register appears to be useless.
