I'm tired of getting these calls. They happen repeatedly!!! ALL DAY.

I have been receiving daily (sometimes twice a day) calls from this mob for weeks now, claiming to be ringing on behalf of Telstra. I rang Telstra - nobody from Telstra using a landline number such as this is recorded as ever having rung my home, nor do they unless its from a 1300 number and it is on record. All conversations are recorded. These scammers have gained illegal email access to my latest account and ring under the ruse they are from Telstra and wanting to discuss my account details, provided I give them some more personal details. Didn't stay on phone long enough to find out any more. Scam!

They call everyday I just tell them my DOB is <today> date

I took your good advice today to register with the do NOT call list and still got a scam call from VIRGIN MONEY and then this number again
Are they on some sort of satellite delay?
No good blocking these numbers as they keep changing numbers and passing our numbers on for a price if you don't answer and the cycle goes on
If you are going to call back use a public fone so they don't know anything about who is calling - shoes on the other foot

I advise everyone if with telstra to ring this number 1800 805 996 its their unwanted calls department and tell them this number is annoying you. I was just told they are associated with telstra but shouldnt be calling me as im registered with the do not call register. I was told they are going to contact this number (08) 6228 4190 and tell them to not contact me and also block any telemarketers from ringing. Lady i spoke with was very nice and very helpful

They continually call several times a day, have now profiled their number to go straight to message bank. Wankers.

Our utilities and telcos where sold by our very own leaders of our country. To many privatised organisations and third-party consultants with there hands on our details. Commonly known to me as fat cat organisations.

Hi well I blocked their old number (08) 6228 4010 and now they swapped to this number. AR## wipes

Received a call today from this number on my husband's phone, looking for me? They claimed to be calling 'on BEHALF of' Telstra - but didn't know anything about us which made me smell a rat. When I declined to have the call recorded they hung up. I believe this is a scam, as if it were truly Telstra they would have all our details on file.

Rang and told me I needed to turn on computer for them to help me stop virus, she said" I needed to stop the virus and they would talk me thru it while I did the work and they watched, turn on the computer" and when I said no and asked for her Telstra Id# she got very irate and told me I was selfish and deserved all the viruses in my computer, when I asked for her supervisor she hung up!

Useless person kept asking about my services with Telstra and how much i was paying. If they were Telstra they would know. They claim they were asking for "security reasons to verify" who i am. They refused to identify who they are and would not let me talk to a supervisor saying there weren't any.

This number called me twice (I didn't answer either time) so now I have blocked the number. Thank you for your posts

3x calls in the last 2 weeks or so. I answered the first time and they told me they were calling from or on behalf of Telstra - which was crap of course. I said I was not interested and hung up and they still keep calling....

This number has called me all week twice a day! I have now blocked them! So persistent and annoying. Love that you can block a number on the iPhone!

These people are not Telstra. They didn't even know my name. Scam
