I’m sick of getting calls from this no I’ve answered but was hung up on haven’t answered since but they keep calling will have to block no. True Caller says it’s spam .

Caller: telstra nbn

"Telstra claim this is a scam number". on this forum 210 people have complained. Thousands of calls go out from this number every day and tens of thousands of calls from all the other identified scammers using Telstra lines. To Telstra a phone call good or bad = revenue... why would they shut them down...

Keep getting a call from this number everyday sometimes twice. Lucky i have called ID and i just keep ignoring it

Apparently it is NBN, not a Telstra number though.

Just got a call from (08) 6228 4112, where the caller said he was from Telstra Brisbane. When I refused to go into details, he finally hung up.
As indicated here, I suspected, this number is not Telstra and IS A SCAMMER!
So, I would suggest don't answer it or just hang up, when they start trying to get info!

received 2 missed call and they call again today , i picked up the call, the guys they have all my details, feeling very insecure, he claimed he is calling from telstra and want to make sure i receive the best service and connection, obviously NOT !
sh*t i told him my date of birth and he access my account, will there be any credit card details reveal?

Just got a call from this number , telling me there has a better deal for me. However need to verify me first. It is super crazy. I told them I will never verify myself because you are the one who call me. if you want to give me the deal , just day it you dont have to verify me. he tried to explain why he needs to verify me. They are very professional scammer. Be careful to stick to your logic. You dont need to verify yourself if you are not asking any account details about your phone account. Sale person can speak to about deal without verifying you.

Just had a call from this number and seen it was from perth. Being in nsw i didnt bother to answer and now coming here and reading some comments glad that i didnt answer them.

Caller: Nuisance / Scammer

Calls constantly and hanging up when I answer, even if I answer immediately when it rings. I rang them back, and it says it is Telstra NBN. Spoke to the person and he claimed that their external call service rings several numbers at once, and whoever answers their phone first is the one that they will speak to, all other numbers will be hung up on.
Not officially Telstra.

Caller: TSA

The caller informed me that they have a partnership agreement with Telstra to provide additional services. They then asked me to identify myself with my DOB which I refused to give, she kept trying to engage me in trivial chat. She was from Brisbane, but the number prefix is NT/SA/WA, couldnt help me with anything as I said I was happy with my bundle then tried to interest me in a $15 pm tablet. I then ended the call as I had an appt.

just had one from this number on my landline....ignored it and checked here...Telstra never call my landline only my mobile.

Couple of missed calls on this number - May 1-2, 2018. So they're still at it. Blocked now.

This is a SCAM call centre...A bunch of Indians try to scam money from us .... BEWARE OF (08) 6228 4112

Number is still being used, had a couple of calls in the past two weeks

11 calls in 10 days, probably take months for them to stop, persistent bloody pricks
