This number is Telstra's call back centre for handling complaints. Just managed to pick up the third call.

Add me to the list, keep getting calls from this number, when I answer it hangs up and i get the engaged signal. When I try to ring it back, it rings once then i get the engaged signal. This is very annoying especially when I am waiting on important calls. FIX IT UP!!

This is correct, it took date to find out so that is why I'm sharing it please use and abuse it as it has done to you. PS if making comments use free Wi-Fi so that you cannot be traced.

They say its Telstra but who the hell calls and asks for personal details. Bugger off... I didn't call you...

It was Telstra. The message they left said I was to call back about my recent call to them (I made no such call). They left a return number of 1800 787 084. When I called them back, they tried to sell me on various products such as Foxtel and a mobile plan.

the trouble is people havnt got time to keep complaining so they get away with millions, imagine how much our elderly get ripped off, bugger them, I for one keep on their back, the squeaky cog gets the oil, it works, they hate it. so come on cogs, squeak away and lets fight telstra at their own game...

It rings only once and they ring up to 2 times a day. I have an escalated complaint with Telstra too. I have not heard from them other than these "prank" calls. Is this their way to annoy their customers even more than they usually do. This seems like a bully tactic to me.

Yes I just now getting the same calls from same number which is Telstra and have same issues can't call them back as it disconnects. Yes I have a complaint about Telstra billing :)

Looks like Telstra is really starting to fall to pieces and cant run there Company at all anymore, I have had ongoing compliant and issues from Dec12 to date and also some of these Issues are well before on when I joined Telstra 2 years back, this company was the Ace in phone communications for many years, but I truly feel they have totally lost and will lose more if they don’t get the act together very quickly, they have cost my company well over $40g in the last 3 months. I will be closing one of my phone accounts very soon as there Customs Relations Term or any part of Telstra think is Telstra is more then likely not the old reliable Telstra that handle complaints or Issues, they are now NO answerable & non-existing & nor of any useful to ANYONE ANYMORE. I can see that Telstra is slowly dying from it’s own doings. S M Auld

These people are bloody morons, they need to get a proper job, ACMA needs to grow some teeth they have a whole bunch of dead branches doing nothing, Campbell Newman needs to get amongst them and clean them up.

Two missed calls so far, no ability to phone back. Someone has too much time on their hands to make stupid calls like this.

The number (08) 6228 4026 has been calling me Up to 6 times a day. When I try to ring back, The number doesnt even ring so I have no clue who it is as I cannot call back.
