I find it very funny that every time I am cold called (approx 6 daily various calls) 99% if the time they are Indian people whom are very difficult to understand. This is not being a racist this is a factual statement. Then you take the second FACT going by how many people on this site have calls from Indians that are SPAM, SCAM OR JUST CRAP.

Take a hint. We hate cold callers, no what nation you are from. It's just at the moment all the annoying f$ckers are from India. If you don't want to deal with the fallout associated with being a cold caller , well heres a free time..

"Optus doesn't have the infrastructure to get a hold of all of their customers" hahahahaha, they're a telecommunications company with postal addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and 'they don't have the infrastructure' Bloody hilarious!

Hi everyone. I have worked at NTC for a few years now and shed some light on who they are and what they do. Just like how when you buy a Samsung phone from an Optus dealer, you can buy Optus products from NTC (and the prices are identical). We call existing Optus customers and offer them either a cheaper price than what they are currently paying with a competitor or reduce their mobile bills by offering a better solution. If the customer asks for extra data or an additional service, we can connect it with them as well. Optus doesn't have the complete infrastructure to get a hold of all of their customers so they have us help (and they are VERY strict with rules that we must follow). Optus pays NTC to provide a service they cannot fulfill, just like buying at Samsung phone from Optus and not going to the Samsung store. Most customers I call are so excited to save money or get whatever service they want/need.

I have found myself being called from north korea however this number appears to be australian, they are asking me if i want a phone through a company "oblivious" and it seems the people i'm speaking to are exactly that!

Just for your info NTC Voice is a telemarketing company working on behalf of Optus. It's not a scam company or anything as you may think. If you read the comments a lot of people are very happy that we have given them something better for a lower cost than Telstra ripping them off and getting a bad service. If you are not interested listen to the staff to know how you can opt out of the call. Many of you people do not listen and thats the problem. Be patient at times with people you talk to, they may help you out and save you some money. If your not interested you can always inform them and ask them how to opt out. They are also doing a job and not begging which is much better. If you have an issue with telemarketing, sort it out by registering in the Do not call list or opting out from your service provider or getting your number unlisted. And all you racist Aussies, other country people are equally good and smart enough if not better than you'll. Get a life yourself before being a racist B**tard.

Awsome company, better to go through than optus themselves, very patient spoke to some one called Tom saved me getting ripped off from Telstra.

Had a call from a lovely young man named Sam, he sold me the $115 entertainment bundle. I was getting ripped off by Telstra and he saved the day! Hooray for Optus

For all of you receiving calls from a (08) 6151 2937 or similar numbers to this one, they are telemarkets trying to sell you optus products..

(08) 6151 2937 - This number keeps calling me a couple of times a day with no response when I answer. What can I do about blocking it from calling? Can I report this to someone? Its really annoying me now and I'd like to take this further....
