guess what people, not all telemarketers are idots. most of us just want to work and this what we can get that fits in with our situation. personally i am in this line of work because the hours suit with school hours. we don't actually want to annoy you a simple no thanks or not today and that is that (for me at least) i know there are some out there who pester but that is usually down to the policy of the company regarding calling back till you get someone. i get annoyed too by these type of no number no message and you cant ring back things, thats how i ended up here. but please dont brand all telemarketers with the same name as the few who do the wrong thing, we are just just try to earn a living too.

They don't need to be hassled by idiot telemarketers who btw aren't their to help the foundations they are just there raise they have nothing better to do with themselves. some of us don't asked to be called our no's get selected, do not call does not apply to charities, i support when i can and with what i can but am made to feel less human if i cannot give, bring back the charity buckets , i will happily walk towards a bucket, but not a contract

This number (07) 5668 0854) is from a call centre (outgoing calls only) so you will not get through if you call the number. They make calls on behalf of a number of charities, usually selling lottery tickets. As mentioned a number of times on this site, call 1800 178 022 and they should be able to help you remove your number/details.

As with all the other complaints here, I signed up for a regular $50 per month to the Mater Hospital Foundation and I now get 6-10 calls per day from (07) 5668 0854 on my personal mobile phone and on my work phone!!!!! Am really p'd off. I have just angrily cancelled my regular donations and they will now to the RSPCA. They dont seem to realise that donors expect to be treated with respect and we are not an endless pit of money. I only so much per month I can donate so I am very choosy about where it goes. And from now on it doenst to go to the poor sick babies. WAKE UP FUNDRAISERS!

Shame on all you complainer, this is for a great cause, if you don't want to buy a ticket then don't simple....there not scammers or thieves, now that's just crazy talk..... this money raised from tickets sales goes to a wonderful cause.... Mater Homes keep up the good work in helping the less fortunate and sick :)

You say you "regret giving to the Mater" all because of a couple of phone calls, big deal you bunch of cry baby's, this means that your not a gracious giver at all, actually it seems that your to much of a scrooge to enjoy giving so your idea of giving is probably bugger all.. in that case what makes you think you deserve anything in this world at all? by your attitudes you deserve nothing from this world, what then when the rest of the world scoff at you when you ask for help.
