This number just called my silent landline. After a minute of silence a voice recording says "Goodbye". If you ring this number back it is advised as an unconnected number??

They wanted to "fix" my computer even though they didn't really know what was wrong with it.
The scandal is that this has been going on for years and nothing is done about it.

Called at 8.35pm. As soon as I informed them that it was illegal to call after 8pm, they hung up - go figure!

My 92 year old mother received a call from this number at 10pm. This is unacceptable!

Called at 9:13pm which is unusual. Now they just hang up on me. Telstra now send a code to your mobile phone to verify themselves when u are speaking to them. Telstra will also ask for your date of birth, address and full name to verify that that they are speaking to the account holder. Scammers can only give you the info they have from the phone book, nothing else. I told them they weren’t Telstra as they hadn’t followed any of these procedures

This is a scam they have called 3 times in the last 2 days and when I asked some questions for they authority, they hung up.

female with Indian accent trying to do the ASSOC command prompt scam. Very persistant, rang back 10 times to annoy me, classifiable as nuisance calling too.

Asian female voice claiming to be from Telstra Technical Support. just call them a scammer and they hang up.

Same thing as everyone else, Indian girl from Telstra called stating my internet being hacked.
One thing different to others, i asked her for her Telstra identification #, and she gave me one - i didnt take notice of it - as i didnt expect an answer, she originally gave me a six digit #, I asked her was that all as i thought they had Alpha also, so she quoted a D, which i believe is part of telstra employee #s. So this is a well prepared scamming organisation. The caller was from Queensland.

Tonight a woman voice with Indian accent rang saying from Telstra and said my internet was hacked, although I am not using Telstra network. I hang up the phone call and around 2 minutes later rang again. I told her that I would report her to Fair trading or police and she answered just report it. She doesn’t bother although I told her that I am registered with” Do not call”

Scammer - no one talked when I answered. I am on the Do Not Call register, but still get these calls

Been called every day for the last 2 weeks, very aggressive person on the phone when I have been home to answer it, kept telling me that they are from Telstra, I just hang up as I know Telstra does not ring you, it is the other way round.

I am quite shocked that you receive scam numbers with a Silent Number as I was thinking of going Private.

Have been receiving phone calls from this MOB and am getting a little Peeved, like possibly all of you responding to this site. I am almost ready to CANCEL my home phone number with TELSTRA. I've been getting the calls for quite a while now mainly around 5pm Perth Time and randomly during the day. I receive this call 5-10 times a day. Added the number to my contacts and entered as DONT ANSWER, although once you do answer, they know they have got you and they just don't stop ringing.
I am in Perth and now just don't answer any EASTERN STATES CALLS. If it is someone actually wanting to talk to me, I have an answering machine and can then make the decision of picking up or not.

The call i get comes from Caloundra, Queensland.

Dirty business people, trying to hijack my computer however they got all my details and I reporting this phone number to nearest police station. Caller said she is calling from Telstra, Melbourne technical services but I had suspicion asked questions they could reveal all my personal details, sounded Indian female voice (not being racial here) but really scammer. The call was registered from (07) 5416 9854

I have had a call three times in the last two days.Same thing pretending to be Telstra.I just hang up,they are a nuisance.

i just ask the scammer if they want to suck my cock = gets rid of them
