Have had this number calling me pretty much everyday for the last 2 weeks, sometimes twice in one day. I rang them back once and it just rang out and went to this message bank saying they were some charity. But no charity calls me this often and at ridiculous hours of the night. Obviously a scam to me. But if it is actually a charity then they're very bloody stupid. If someone doesn't answer after 7 calls, they mostly aren't going to answer. Number has been blocked.

they ring my wife wanting to talk to me, but won't tell her who they are, so I'm always unavailable. The number is now listed as spam on my phone.

Why can't vis harassing idiots get the message that if the call is un answered they should not keep calling. i believe the charities add the numbers and out details to the list of this telli marketer after we make a donation. I i am now in my third round of repeated unanswered calls from this number. you call the number back and they don't answer just giving a recorded message with no opportunity to remove yoursel i'm so sick of it that i will henceforth make no donations to any charity or fundraising organisations ever again .

Call everyday, twice a day, for the last four days. I never make it to the phone in time, but it looks like it's just someone after donations. I'll donate when I can, NOT when I'm bullied into it.

Have received numerous calls from this number (3 times a week for the last 6 weeks) and have let it go to voicemail under the assumption that a normal person would leave their details but never have they left a message. I tried to call the number back today in frustration and it just kept ringing out and the ring tone sounded like it was calling an overseas number, so I am still not sure which company / charity / telemarketer it is.

Just had a call from this number & they hung up, probably hoping I would call back but damned if I am going to pay for their calls from my end.
They prob got my number from entering a competition which requires you to answer some survey questions.
After looking into it I found that they will ask for your credit card details. Blocked them immediately.

There are 3 numbers that come up 02, 03, & 04
All are from International collection agencies on a commission.
They got my number from change.org and in particular a well known conservation organisation.
I have unsubscribed from change.org and given the reason that my phone number was passed on. Where I thought it was only to be used to verify the validity of the petition. Also informed the charity that useing a third party to solicit money was unacceptable.
This is only my attitude others may be happy with the process. I never give to charities that phone up. The most annoying part is the psychology 101 process. 1. Get the subject talking. 2. Ask a few questions to establish background and establish rapport.
3. Ask the subject a number of questions that get a positive response. 4. When subject responds with a series of positive replies get a positive reply for a donation.
I think I would be more inclined to donate if they rang and said " i want a donation for XYZ" without all the bull.

The past week I have been getting calls from this number! I answer and as soon as I do, they hang up. I get at least two calls a day. I called the number back and nothing.

Really frustrating! Will be blocking this number.

Perhaps try the Guide Dogs - they're really goo and I give to them - they do send out letters and info and sometimes add for extra donations but not by ringing and annoying. I just got a call from the other mob and thought it might have been from someone I did know but hesitated and didn't answer because I knew if it were the person I knew they'd leave a message.

Been getting calls from this number, 3 days in a row now. Getting annoying for me. Missed all of them and didn't return the call, especially since no voice message was left.

Too Greedy to Care

These are paid organisations that get 20% of every donation they collect - that's why they harass you and that's why they are from so many different charities. The charities outsource this to private companies whose sole goal is to make money. I don't give to anyone raising money for charity, I always give directly to the charity itself. What the charities don't seem to realise is that these companies are actually turning people off donating, not getting people to donate.
