We just received a call from Aussie Bill Compare. My elderly mother picked up the phone. After listening she politely told the salesperson she was happy with her current service providers and was very busy and was not interested. The salesperson kept talking. Again I heard my mother repeat politely that she was not interested and that she was busy. Again the salesperson kept trying the hard sell. That's when I took the phone and asked for his name. He said "Blake". I asked him "what is it about what my mother said did you not understand? Stop harassing people. Instead of apologising this brazen and obnoxious person just kept trying to sell. At this point I told him to get lost and hung up, something my mother would find too rude to do and as such is taken advantage of by companies like this. I don't like your style and shame on you. You are an insult to the word "Aussie" in your name.

Marshall, with you leaving comments like you have on this site, calling us all a33holes and then saying that you used to work there......
It seems that with ur lack of respect towards us receiving these annoying calls, that it is quite possible that consumers are being abused by cold callers. you abuse us on this site therefore I assume you would abuse us in ur phonecalls too.

The people on here complaining are rediculous. All the pig headed people here saying " don't answer it, just ignore" blah blah blah. It's you morons who are just that, morons.
Aussie bill compare is a legitimate business working for different retailers, simply calling you to see if you can get a cheaper bill, simple. You DO NOT get called c#unts etc! and abused! your lying.. Compliance listens to all calls and I know it's not true.
It's an auto dialer that calls you. Not the rep. They don't know who you are.myour information is given to Aussie hill compare by companies that YOU give your information to in shopping Centers etc. These people calling you have a very hard job and work very hard.
But you morons answer your phones, thinking you know everything and are being ripped off a lot of the time.
You should pull your arrogant heads in and let them simply compare. They get so many emails and phone calls of praise from customers who are VERY happy with the service.
Your number is automatically put back into system by the robot and will be called a lot! Might as well answer it and see if you can save mobey. It's free you morons. I used to work there and loved it..but left for other things..I'd go back anytime...

I had a male caller from Aussie price compare who asked if I have received their letter about price increases and clearly I said no. When he hold me who they are I said very politely thank you but I'm not interested in changing my electricity provider he shouted at me saying 'did I ask you to?' Then I asked him what he wanted then he answered with ' if I bloody listened to him I would know'. I told him he was rude and would not get any business that way. I felt a little shaky having a stranger call me in my home and be aggressive especially when they want me to do something for them.

Aussie Bill Compare only just rang me to let me know of two more increases in electricity. When I queried the fact the it should be cheaper because of the lack of carbon tax now and that how are we expected to live with all of these increases, she told me we won't live longer now because there is no carbon tax. When I challenged her she hung up. Now will not answer my call. How can these people be so rude and get away with it?

When will they realise that if l need information l will seek it for myself! I no longer answer my phone - ever - unless l know the number! its rather sad that the world has come to such an invasion of privacy! I used to get annoyed, but now l have come to the realisation that they are after money/greed/ego/general disregard for family or work conditions - l just dislike the arrogant/abusive/belittling types who think they are superior to me ! wake up its my phone - and l will use it at my convenience !

Yes you are telemarketers. That is exactly what you are. You are calling me, UNINVITED, to try and sell me something.

GO BOIL YOUR HEAD.

I do not want to talk to you. I am happy to pay double for my electricity just for the convenience and joy of NOT spending two minutes talking to you. I don't care if you are having a bad day. In fact, I hope you are. Really bad. So bad that you jam your phone up your boss's backside and he closes the business to convalesce from his rectal surgery, and you and Barbara both end up on the dole doing crack and NOT CALLING ME.

Seriously. Get out of my life.

So, if you actually GO to the Do Not Register website, it states clearly on the front page that you are registered for EIGHT YEARS, not one as you say.
It also states on there it's free. Nothing about costs or anything like that.

First....You say no harm in hearing them. well, I work hard on phones too for 9 hours a day too and they make my day harder, so why the hell should I not abuse and reject someone I didn't want to hear from in the first place?! You make me miss PROPER CUSTOMER CALLS BECAUSE I HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOUR BULLsh*t. YOU COST MY COMPANY MONEY BY DOING THIS. Second, you are nice to us!? What about the complaints on here of the rude language/ hung ups? Or are you just going to conveniently forget those insults made to the general public? Since you are aware how much people hate cold callers and will blow whistles and such down the phone, doesn't that give you a hint about your job? WE DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. If you decide to APPLY and ACCEPT a job doing cold calling, you ACCEPT the abuse that comes with it. It's like a garbage man complaining of the smell.. YOU CHOSE THE JOB YOU, NUMB NUT. I don't care if you break down. Get out of the industry and do something more respectful...... Flip a burger if you have to..

This company rang the business I work for with their standard offer. The things that stuck in my craw were (besides the cold call): the caller told one of my colleagues when they put him on hold that he didn't have "all day to wait" on hold; the caller pretended that we were with one of the six companies they represent. When he found out we weren't, he pretended that this was a mistake ("Oh, I must have gotten the wrong number!") and that he'd run through the deal anyway. At this point I made my excuses and went back to work. This was an extremely lame tactic that only made me end the call quicker than I would've under ordinary circumstances.

Hi guys just thought I would clarify some things:
1.Aussie Bill Compare is not out sourced to an overseas number, it is based in Brisbane.
2.They are a FREE comparison company that looks for better energy rates for YOU.
3.They are funded by the electricity companies they compare which is why it is FREE.
4.It can take a total of 10 minutes and save you $$$
5.Yes I work for this company
6. Yes I am Australian

I work for Aussie Bill , it is a legitimate company, they compare elect and gas retailers to help you recieve discounts for your area.It is a FREE comparison and only takes a couple of minutes , where as other companys for example, I select are not a free service .there is no harm in hearing these people out they just want to help you , they are hard working people who take calls for 9 hrs a day non stop except for short breaks in between, listening to peoples abuse and excuses and rejection can really break sometimes spirit I know this because IM experiencing it at the moment I had a melt down yesterday and a lady brought me to years.we are honest hard working people just trying to earn an income and offer you a free comparison to help keep money in your pockets and not the electricity compacts pockets.please just take at least 2 minutes to hear us out and then you can let us know if your not interested.please be nice, as we are to you , we are not telemarketers here at aussie bill compare.

Firstly, how long ago did you go on the "do not call" register? If over 12 months ago that's why you get called. You have to renew every year for the "do not call" register, first year is free after that you have to pay. All of the numbers get washed before connected to a HUMAN as they get checked against the "do not call" list, so unless your number is on there and currently registered (so renewed) your number will get called. If it goes to a machine, they mark it down and it won't be called again for at LEAST 6 months. They are only trying to see if there are cheaper electricity rates or discounts in your area for you so you can save money. They're not "terrorist". The bull crap they deal with on a daily basis from abusive people like you is disgusting. One woman had an elderly lady blow a whistle in her ear, and another had a grown man threaten to hunt her down because his number was private. Just because you have a private/silent or non listed phone number that doesn't mean a thing, unless you are on the "do not call" register and your registration for that is current and up to date. Also, they don't have magic mirrors that show you're "busy" or "having dinner" or whatever other excuses there are, they just get connected and have to talk. So don't abuse them. They're humans like you, trying to make a living. And some of them have reasons for only being able to get that sort of job.
