I just had this call as well, Scottish accent, asked if I had been in an accident in the last 12 months I said no, he mumbled something and then hung up. Will block this number now!

Had the same experience as the other people here, I picked up the phone but I could barely understand what he was saying as he had a very thick Scottish or Irish accent. I asked who it was and he said something about being a company called first response team. Halfway through his next sentence I heard inaudible voices in the background, the man then yelled out "I can't hear you Rob. Rob I can't hear you!" to the person in the background. After a few seconds of silence he hung up. Obvious scam.

just got a call .. this is second call that i have had a car accident in the last 12 months.. i told him im reporting him to the police.. he hung up very quickly.. this needs to stop.. more of this out there.. soon as we can get this removed..

Dodgy, when asked to identify themselves and why they are ringing a do-not-call number, the jerk mouthed off and hung up HAHAHA

same about a no fault accident.

Same call from man with Scottish accent. When I asked him to remove me from his database he kept pressing. When I asked him again and told him I would report him to the ACCC, he started getting stroppy. When asked him to repeat his full name and company name he hung up. Definite con. Called from (07) 3053 5693

Had a call from First Response asking about accident in last 12 months, when I said I hadn't, said must be system error. I insisted to talk to supervisor, they hung up on me. Will be lodging complaint with ACMA.

I got call from this number and saying same that I got car accident then I told him I have no car how I can meet accident...I said I dnt knw y i calling then he hanged up... it looks some sort of scam

I also just got a call from this number - said the same thing as what they said to "Jenny" in previous post - saying he got my number from the National Car Accident Register or something he was talking very fast.
Also asking if I had been in a car accident in the last 12 months.

Phone me then hung up when I answered. Maybe I sounded too grumpy to con?

Called about an accident I have had in last 12 months (I havent had one) & I asked if it was a scam and he replied no. He was from First Response Team but when I asked the date of the accident he advised he couldn't tell me due to data privacy. He quickly said goodbye & have a nice day and hung up. English accent.

Received a call from this number - scottish voice. I asked for his name - Joseph Williams, he was from First Response Team in Brisbane. Asked if I'd been in a car accident in the past 5 months. I didn't answer any questions but gathered the information. I asked what number he was calling from and was given (07) 5405 9553 which is not the number that showed on the phone. I then advised him I was passing the information onto the police as it was a scam call. He said have a nice day and hung up.
