calling about a non fault accident I have had in the past 12 months, except I havent had any accidents. absolute fraud

This guy just called me to say I had an in fault car accident and that he was calling from the insurance company
I said that that's interesting because I work for an insurance company
I said can I speak with your supervisor? He said yes and hung up
This is a clear fraud and not a very good one at that
Be carful and block the number

Just received call from this number, indistinct voice saying about an accident in last 12 months. I haven't had any accidents so just told them and hung up. obviously a scam.

First Response called claiming I had a not at fault accident in the last 12 months. Haven't had any accident at all. Using voice changing software to sound English, both people I spoke to had the same voice. Defended their legitimacy very fiercely and argued they were not a scam but said they were in Sydney despite a 07 Qld prefix. Definitely not. Second time I've encountered voice changing software in all the calls I've had. Total scammers.

Rang me two weeks ago and I advised no accident and they hung up. Yet had a missed call from them again two days ago. Just ridiculous. It's harassment.

Just had an English guy ask my first name and said he was calling from Fresh ? Insurance, about a car accident I have had inthe last 12 months I said no, it was January last year. He said he would take my name off their list since it was over 12 months ago, then he hung up. I tried to call back but it disconnects.

Got call from this number just before, so I looked up for this number and same story happened to me also.... and he is spelling my first name and also last name very clearly and said, its about the accident I involved, I asked him again, I don't understand about what he says then.. he goes verbal abuse, its fu@@ing accident you were involved with loud and angry voice.. then I said I haven't involved any and hung the phone...

Same thing had a lady with an accent. Same scenario. She was not phased at all when I told her I was recording the call . I told her I knew it was a scam

I just got a call from this Scottish guy who said is this Joseph Gilmore when I said yes he hung up. Have been called by him before and have handed the number to a friend in the police force.

This is the scam number that is calling regarding a car accident DO NOT ANSWER i have now been called so many times and blocked them but they keep calling! i have not had a car accident so they are trying to scam money

I have been called 3 times in the last month telling me I have been in 3 different accidents and why I say no then they ask if I am a reference for someone else in my household that may have been in an accident in my car. They told me my number plate but would not release any information about the accident. They will not tell me the company name either.

Didn't pick up as I don't recognise the number. Didn't leave a message either.

Called me twice now. Once an Aussie guy and the other was an Indian guy. I played along ... then they hung up. Has anyone contacted scamwatchers about these guys??

My daughter blocked the number on my phone and suggeted calling the police. Clearly a Qld number, so maybe they can track it and shut these people down!

Got the calls from (07) 3053 5693, clearly a Qld number. Kind of makes you wonder why the police haven't found and shut this guy down.
It's got scam written all over it!!!
