I called back number 0489 012 567 rang 2 times then goes to busy tone.

I just answered a call from this same number trying to sell me solar panels and promoting an increase in the government rebate scheme. Heavy accent and said he was from Green Solar. When I told him I would call him back if I was interested he said I only have an internet number. I said, well you must have an email address then and he hung up on me.

Answered the first time they called and was some mob trying to sell solar panels. Told them not interested and to remove my number, but called again the next day.

Have since blocked the number, but they have been trying to call 3 or 4 times a day since.

they asked if i knew about the government rebate " i had to ask like 3 times because i couldn't understand his heavy accent", but he also had my surname somehow.
i am on the DNC register with an updated listing, so i guess i better follow up with the phone carrier to complain through the TIO.

Scam. I told him stop calling. Said he hadnt called before. I told him 4 other people must have the same number as his then and I didnt care for what he was selling. He said he didnt care for me before hunging up.... again. I cried.... then laughed. Then cried & laugh at the same time. And then i went back to stop caring......

They rang on 10/2/18 and again on 13/2/18...no message left and the number is disconnected if you try to phone back...obviously some failcake scammer....another muppet for the blacklist.

asked how they got my number, person on the line said from the govt talking about solar panel rebates, have told them not to call me anymore previously, guy started laughing and being a smart arse. told him to get his manager and he said his name was my name. blocked the number now
