Caller: Some Indian / Asian woman

Accent was so strong I could barely make out what they were on about, but reading others here it's another attempt at the accident insurance scam

Caller: "Legal Assist"

An foreign lady with English as a 2nd language, I queried how they got my number and they said they got it from their server team. I've been getting these nuisance calls for at least the last 6 months. Definite scam.

Just got the same call. He had my first and last name. I questioned him on where he got my number and name and he said friends / family uploaded it. He kept asking if I've been in accidents and I told him I have accidents everyday and my entire life is an accident. He put the phone down : (

Yep - someone from "Legal Assist" I hung up on them and within half an hour got two more calls from numbers that I didn't recognise. iddn't bother answering them

I rang the number back and the automated recording was something about accident management. From all of the reports, it is a scam and to be blocked.

So it's June and she is still at it. I pretended I had a bad connection. Tried to keep her on the phone for as long as I could to waste her time.

Insurance accident scam.

Funny now they are calling State Government Investigator's mobile phones... They really hit the bottom now.

I've received calls while at work.

Called saying I had an accident in the last 2 years which is definitely not true. Trying to see if I'd received compensation.

I always tell them to get an honest living before they meet their maker

I never answer numbers I don’t know anymore because of this. Always look it up. Thanks for all the posts. Very helpful. Blocked and deleted.
