they said they were calling on behalf of police and neighbourhood watch...i hung up

I called back number 0478 289 750 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

scam - these publications do not exist - never have

as per the above comments. Got number from facebook and or instagram. Got panicky when asked questions.

Recently got a bsb, she said she was with neighbourhood watch. Considered it a scam.

Received a couple calls few months earlier, say they are Victorian Police raise a funding and stuff. Today they call again even call my colleague's personal number. Hang out as soon as you could

Got a call yesterday from this number saying they were from Victoria Police looking for and wanting business to pay for advertising in there booklet for helping kids with depression and bullying.. I really was not listening and she said they would send me an email with the information asking on the end of the email if l agree to pay the money.. Again really did not look at the email until this morning when l got two calls one after another from similar numbers who did not leave a message.. Thats when l searched the numbers on Google and found this information.. Bastards..
They used different phone numbers each time they called as follows: 0478 289 746 / 0478 289 746 / 0478 286 005..

A lady called and said she was calling on behalf of police and neighbourhood watch. They wanted to put an advert on mywebsite which might help the youths suffering from depression. She gave me an option of the money to be donated and asked me how much l was willing to donate. I told her l would not tell till l see the documents. I gave her my email address. After dropping the phone l google searched the number. Only to discover its a scam and l called the police who advised me to report to interscam.

I think if theyre not prepared to leave a message for you I dont trust them

Dodgy bloke claiming he was from AIPOL (institute of police), but actually works for countrywide media.

Just trying to screw money out of people. He hung up when I asked too many questions.

They were after the builder which I was but retired , they were police and wanted to build a knew poilice station. Rang back the number but it’s not connected

Talked to someone from this number earlier telling me they were from the police and neighbourhood watch. Told them I was busy and they said they'd call back later. They did but I was still busy so didn't accept - when I tried to call back it hung straight up. Felt like a scam and looked up the number and found all these comments. Almost hoping they call back now!

They said they were police wanting to put my business in a book. I asked where they got my number and business name from and he said from leads data system. I hung up on him.
