Just hang up, long story about ice, street smart, packages, advertsiing

Called me and asked about (what he thought) was my business. When I told him it was ni longer a business, but it was a hobby, he hung up. After reading the comments, I can see why he lost interest. Will block this number

Claiming to be from SES requesting local business advertise to support SES fund raising.

same as above claiming to be from neighbourhood watch.. The guy sounded very dodgy too.

Called i answered they were laughing then said sorry mate wrong number and hung up

I had this call from a Nick who was calling on behalf of police association - for streetsmart books in schools. I asked him to email information - never got anything. Next day same number called and hung up when I answered. dodgy.

Caller: Scam caller claiming to be from neighbourhood watch

This number called business number claiming to be from neighbourhood watch, and when asked which neighbourhood he was referring to, he said "your neighbourhood". There is a scam going around where businesses or sole traders get calls asking to contribute towards neighbourhood watch where they accept "donations" but they are simply going into the scammers pockets. Do not deal with these people, they are scammers.

Got them same call about street smart bullsh*t & ice addiction clearly a scam

Called claiming to be from police victoria about a street smart program. Tried to get information about my business.

"police and neighbourhood watch" books salesman..

I had a call from 0478 284 322 and it hung up. when I tried to call back it said number was not available from this service. less than 2 mins later I received on from 0478 289 750 and had a whole story about helping get these books into the school. I asked him to send me some info to my email which surprised me as he actually told me what it was. reading this I am a little surprised as I was unaware it was even a scam until I checked the first number out

I got a third number of 0478 289 750 also

Caller: Male

Called claiming he was from the police station wanting to raise local business owners to partake in an event for our police workers who deal with drugs on the street, wanting to give back to those who give everyday for us. In exchange I'd have my business advertised with over 150 other business owners

Caller: Rob

A man called using two different numbers 0478 284 322 and 0478 289 747 claiming to be a police officer asking for donation for a VIC Streetsmart Handbook. The email he used was ckeramidas @ cwa.carmacloud.com.

My advice, just hang up when you received this call.

Said she was from a Neighbourhood Watch program, when pressed for more information in an email terminated the call

Caller: Rob from "police institute"

The age old false billing scam trying to scare people into compliance by use of the word police. What a grubby little person you must be Rob. Matey, the rest of us paid attention at school rather than staring out the window, and subsequently got real jobs where we don't need to try and scam people. Can't you just move to some third world country and eek out your final days there?

they said calling from police they want to get information from us
it's fake they tried to steal information from us
