4 text messages in 2 days with 4 different names and email addresses. Not even waiting for me to answer before trying again!

Just smsed regarding a caravan I advertised on Trading post using the email peterwatts50 @ hotmail.com.

What a dooche, this guy enq about my car I listed on Gumtree about 12 hours after listing. his message seemed odd so I looked up the number. and here we go 100 complaints against this guy. I replied to his email. he wont get any more details from me.. Thanks reverse australia for providing this service. for ref he said his name was Paul Atford @ g mail. lets form a mob and run through him :)

Since having my car on car sales I have received about 8 txt msgs from this number, each text msg asking to reply to a different email SCAM they pretend they want to but your car/bike then say they are out of the country and they'll have a courier pick it up then they send u a FAKE PayPal receipt so u believe they've paid for it!!!

replyed to my ad on Gumtree watch this guy he goes by a few names now he trys to make out his coming to view your item,once you give him your address he stops messages to phone,beware of this scammer he now is getting peoples address,i also believe from other message i have recieved from this person it is more than one person job

This sounds like one for the Feds! How hard would it be to check the web usage log at this TAFE for the student or staffer (if it is someone from there) that logged into gmail with the scammers email address. Makes sense.
I'm waiting for my email reply so I can trace it too.

just nearly fell for it too!! Even got paypal notification of payment. Rang the correct paypal help number and she said not to open any links and to forward them to their phishing department, then delete them. wow, close call!!!
