this is a messaging service employed by companies to convert emails into sms. in my case i rely on these sms and do not consider this as spam. i suppose it all comes down to how company's drive the service

This was a message about my gas connection with EnergyAustralia. This was a legitimate message.

Going by the comments on the page, the number appears to be used by many companies for outbound SMS updates.

Received a text message claiming to have an overdue bill to pay with a link attached to pay said account. Blocked immediately

MessageNet uses virtual numbers that cannot be voice called. You can SMS back a response however.

My Covid Test results came thru this.
Alot of Medical Clinics use this to send SMS appt reminders.

Interesting to read of another person here stating a call regarding business cards as I had 3-4 days ago ordered business cards online thru officeworks.As i didn't answer call from this number I don't know if that's what it was to do with but i'm spooked by that now.

I have notifications that this number with the smart indicator belongs to a Dr Bellemore. On attempting to contact called I was greeted with the number is no longer in service.
