2 from energy Australia advising overdue account from 8,9 years ago
3 from car dealership where I bought a car advising sale from 4,5,6 years ago
Today from pathology saying they have received sample with legit code ref
Looks an Ok number as these are all legit contacts
Find it really interesting all came via same number over so many years

This was regarding my COVID19 test that was negative via sms from this number

A genuine covid results number being used by a debt collection agency 😬

A colleague and I received identical messages, simultaneously reading:
“ Frm: ngoc.hoang Sub: Msg: Have a nice day.”

While discussing CORONAVIRUS in person.

Saying I have applied their services. I had been receiving some genuine txt messages from doctor appointments and car services from this number but also received the fraud messages. I had blocked it a year ago. Yet, it came again today. I blocked it again.

Not the ATO :) beacuse they wouldnt ever call you .

Curious about several contributors below saying it is a genuine number for different appointments. A legitimate service number hijacked??

Caller: Two Different Companies - in 2016 & 2019

First two messages from this number were back in 2016, 8 months apart and both were from my vet - reminders for my pets' treatement.

And just yesterday I received two more from my tyre and auto service centre, with the first immediately after I'd 'missed their call' [due to my not recognizing their number], and asking me to contact them; and the second time was to advise me that my vehicle was ready for pick up.

is an SMS Broadcast Service (apparently there is more than one of these types of providers here in Australia), which businesses can send text messages from their computer to the services server which then sends it as a text message to mobile phones.
