I don't trust it! Asked for my pin. Was vague. I told him (young Indian guy) that I won't be giving my pin out to him or anyone. He said "oh, if you have trouble understanding it, then you can go to..." and I cut him off. I understand what a pin is!!
He said I had had big bills lately. I said I had paid for them. He said it wasn't about payment. I asked him not to bother me again. And so far, he hasn't.
Bloody sick to death of big companies and scammers getting through to me/us. ENOUGH!! Life is busy enough!! And nobody has any privacy anymore. Very sad and frustrating.

People need to just chill out...it's Vodafone calling you. You know, probably YOUR mobile provider? There is no way it's a scam when they have their numbers publicly available for you to view:

Any of those numbers called you? Not a scam, simply a sales team. God forbid a company would invest in trying to offer potential better deals to their existing customer base..

got 2-4 calls from this number, good to know is voda, block it

Just received the phone call from him and told him I will take his name and call back the Vodafone help line number and request him. He said it was a one time offer that only he could give. I was happy to possibly not get it rather than giving my pin to a random. I just called 1555 and a lady was very helpful and said it was Vodafone calling but she was still able to do the discount. My advice just call 1555 after and ask for a better plan.

This number is defo not a scam. It was a call I was not expecting, but was very pleased with. Very nice Australian lady was on the other end. Asked for a few details like my PIN, which I didn't remember so I had it re-set (not too long after I received a text from Voda that they had re-set my PIN, so I know the call was genuine). Anyway long story short, I was given $5 off my $50 monthly rolling contract. Not a bad deal :)

Told a telemarketer not to call me again. The next day this number start calling me. Well played.

They called me at some ridiculous time in the night and I woke up to answer it him telling me his from Vodafone and then asked me if I wanted to get a drink after asking for my address (which I did not give) . I said no I just wanna go back to sleep and hung the phone up.

Missed calls, no voicemail. If it really is Vodafone, I'm only on prepaid with them so no reason to call me. All deals and special offers are emailed to me on a regular basis so again, no reason to call.

I got a call too, quite similar to everyone else's. A man saying my bill was high and he got defensive when I wouldn't talk to him. I have googled the number and they are from Vodafone, so it's NOT A SCAM. You can go onto the Vodafone website and request not to be called by their marketing team.

This number has called me 8 times this week. My phone is my Dad's account and the one time I picked up, he said he was Vodafone wanting to talk to him about "very high bills". I hung up and have been avoiding the calls ever since, very annoying.

They call me regularly - I'm a night shifter so usually phone on silent. Thanks for info on it lads and ladettes.

This number isn't a scammer stop making people worry, but if you don't believe me please ring up Vodafone and waste your time like I did and get told there's a note on your account of when they called

Just got a call from this number also and she didn't like that I wouldn't give my pin out over the phone.
Goggled the number right after spending 10 minutes explaining to her how you never give out personal info over the phone and 1st up on the list was this site!!
Just sent them a txt message telling them I know they are scamming and ended it with F Off Bi*ch!

Called me this morning saying he was from Vodafone and wanted to give me more data on my phone. I just upgraded my contract directly with Vodafone less than a month ago. He was adamant that he needed me to give him my pin. He did get a bit nasty when I refused to give him any information. I have notified Vodafone of his call.

Getting 3 or 4 calls a day, so overview. So I have blocked the number, suggest you all do the same.

Got a missed call from the same no. Good to know it is Vodafone. I am leaving them.
