Had a missed number from this call so called them back after looking at this site and the comments and heard a recorded message saying it was Vodafone and that they had recently tried to contact me in regard to some exciting new offerings they have coming up. I didn' t proceed with the call as I don't want to change plans but at least it was reasonably legit - well as legit as vodafone can be.

I have picked up several calls from 0426 313 101. I don't understand why the person (even if its a legit call) remain silent after I had picked up the call and said "hello" at least 5 times. Its does seem suspicious when the person remains silent!?

Called saying from Vodafone. That my bill are high, my plan is outdated and there would be no extension to my plan if I upgraded. Asked for my PIN .. And same storeys as above, that they have it on the screen - I played ignorance and told him I was happy and didn't want to upgrade. He got a little defensive but I just said sorry was not interested and he hung up.

I don't believe this is really Vodafone

It's 100% vodaphone. Sometimes its sales or upgrade options , sometimes it's customer care calling. If you're worried or frightened about privacy ask them to provide you a reference number or their name and call them back on the proper 1300 Vodafone number . It's a simple thing, it's sad to see so many people freaking out and losing there mind over this

Same Phishing as the others, wanting my PIN. Indian man couldn't tell me what my 3 high last bills were(I'm still on a cheap all you can eat plan so my bills don't vary), so I said email me your request(since vodafone have my email). He said they'd txt and email from vodafone.
I won't be holding my breath.

Called then hung up when I said my name.

I got a call from this number and they were silent for some time, then introduced themselves as being from Vodafone. Asked for my pin and I said I don't think you are from Vodafone so I am ending this call. He said," Ok" Seems like a scam

just called me, i answered without talking and no talking on the other end. i am with vodafone though, it may be them

Even though all vodafone customer service is Indian, I still dont trust this as legitimate vodafone staff especially when they cannot answer a question about your account.

Friendly Indian guy. Said he loved Australia and wanted to come to work in Australia and make money, which he would then send back to India to support his family and cousin, who he wanted to marry one day!!! Then he asked me if I would sponsor him???

Just got a call. From my digging it probably is a genuine Vodafone call but I would have thought that they would not have foreigners ringing and asking for pin numbers when the banks and even the government tell you not to give them out over the phone. Pick up your act please Vodafone.

I keep getting calls from this number ...when I pick up no one answers . When I call back it says I can not be connected . Very frustrating and annoying

Had a call from this number today. OK, if it is legit it's poor form from Vodafone. What is the number 1 anti-scam warning? Do not give anyone your PIN. Or account details. I hung up with a very terse 'Email me'. Then texted the number saying why I hung up, then blocked it. If I'm unhappy with my plan I'll look into it, I don't want to be hassled by someone trying to sell me something 'better'. Better fro Vodafone, I'll bet!
