I have had several missed calls from this number over the past week and they never leave a message. I am tired of spammers and scammers calling and texting my phone and so I now refuse to answer any number that I do not know and I will never call back a number that cant leave a legit message, those get checked here and then blocked.

Did some research on this number. These guys operate call girl services in Adelaide and Melbourne. Interesting that they are also doing a phishing scam as well. Of course they should be put out of business. Simply, an older, married plain clothes police officer could attend the escort service and get the bosses details and hey presto, see you in court buddy. But no, this type of thing doesn't happen.

Yep got this call, they had my name and knew I was with vodafone but before giving any information they hung up. I called vodafone support and they assured me the call did not come from their end. Immediately put in on my blocked numbers.

I received a call from this number while travelling overseas. Luckily I didn't answer. I don't want to pay $3/min for a narketing call! I wonder if Vodafone did it on purpose to drain my prepay balance and then tell me about saving with their "special offer". I opted out of all marketing crap years ago, but it obviously didn't help. I'm happy with my old prepay plan. I don't want to "upgrade", "save", "take advantage of the latest offer" or do anything else with it. I'm capable to look at the website if I need to know what's new. What part of NO don't you understand Vodafone?

I missed a call from an unknown number on 7/5/16 and checked it on Google where it's been reported as a scam. I was then contacted by them on 9/5/16 and 18/5/16. After the third time, I decided to ring Vodafone today to ask about it and they've confirmed that it is not a Vodafone number and that it is a scam.

Somebody with strong Indian accent called from 0426 313 101 saying from Vodafone and asked my phone PIN. Why not my credit card number? It is funny but he knows my full name.

This number has called me a number of times. Normally I don't answer numbers I don't recognise and wait for a voicemail but no voicemail has ever been left. Today I answered and no one spoke, I said hello a few times and then they hung up....

I have received 2 call from this number. As soon as I answer and say my name, they hang up. Blocked the number. If you cant speak to me - you're probably suspicious AF.

After they called me, I called Vodafone straight away and they said it was legit, they have new plans they're trying to put existing customers on.

Seeing I'm on a Vodafone red plan and have only spoken to Australian call centres, I find this very strange. Vodafone told me when I signed up to the Red plan that I would only ever get Australians and only ever receive calls from Australia.

Reading some these comments, it appears some of you say you feel secure hearing an Australian accent. Even seem quite happy to give out your PIN and security details without a second thought in that situation. OK then...

Make sure the website is a genuine one too. It is common now for legitimate websites to be copied. They are very hard to spot. Look for poor spelling, grammar, requests for security info.

Apparently this is a legit promotional call from Vodafone. This number got verified from Vodafone Official site FAQ. (http://support.vodafone.com.au/articles/FAQ/Missed-a-call-from-Vodafone) But I have to say it sounds really suspicious when the caller (with Indian accent) asked for a PIN number first thing of the call, before upselling about the details of the promotion.
I have told the caller I am not comfortable providing the PIN as this has no proof that it is a genuine call from Vodafone. Then the lady keeps saying they have to verify the phone number holder... blah blah blah. This is absolute NON-SENSE and a FAIL of business!
